I am utterly speechless. We were just hanging out at the Forgotten Island premiere, sharing so many stories about the long road to releasing Coyote vs. Acme. Shit, I was supposed to interview him this week for Daffy Season. I'm in tears, rip to a true legend.

Eric Bauza dying might be the worst thing to happen to animation in like decades, im so fr, that man was the modern day Mel blanc. He was SO passionate about carrying on those characters to the modern day, he was such an amazing actor and created so many characters of his own.
Survivor hot take: Kilby’s move will have no impact in the long run because no one cares about pre-jury moves.

It did. Absolutely developed a ML/AI program to discern frame to frame movement of animated characters and how the lighting/shading should follow along. "KLaS".
Developed in 2015. A full 7 years before Midjourney V1 dropped. 6 years before DALL-E dropped.
That software generated bezier curves to control the lighting/shading. Then the curves were reviewed and massaged frame by frame by artists.
It's important to distinguish the difference between that form of ML/AI and the exploitative abusive and harmful general AI generative software we're pushing back on right now. Machine Learning has been useful for decades. Nuance is key.

I always see posts like this where people are shocked they’re blocked by people they’ve never interacted with.
But here’s what happened: your posts show up in their feed & they don’t like it, so instead of pushing “Not interested”, they just block you &never see your stuff again
This is my favorite type of geek
One of my favourite Harry Potter loopholes doesn't even involve magic. It involves exploiting the Muggle economy.
Hagrid tells us there are 17 Sickles to a Galleon. Sickles are silver, Galleons are gold. Simple enough.
Except gold and silver don't have a fixed exchange rate in the Muggle world. Their market value fluctuates constantly. Before 1900, the gold-to-silver ratio averaged around 16:1, which is pretty close to the wizarding world's 17:1 rate. Throughout much of the twentieth century, however, it averaged around 45:1.
See where this is going?
Wait until the market heavily favours gold. Melt your Galleons down and sell the gold in the Muggle world. Use the money to buy as much silver as possible, then take that silver to Gringotts and have it converted into Sickles.
Finally, exchange those Sickles for Galleons at the fixed 17:1 rate.
Congratulations. You've potentially turned a small pile of wizarding gold into a much larger pile of wizarding gold, simply by exploiting the difference between Muggle market prices and Gringotts' fixed exchange rate.
No Dark Arts. No Horcruxes. No elaborate schemes.
Just precious metals, a fixed exchange rate and a wizard who understands arbitrage.
The real question is why nobody in the wizarding world seems to have built an entire financial empire around this.

It’s crazy how much more uninterested I am in a five person tribal council than in an eleven person tribal council….

If you legitimately get defrauded by a tax person like this. And the person is actually convicted and everything. The IRS should transfer your tax burden to them. It's entirely fair to do that.
I am very happy to share with you, our first trailer for the documentary about yours truly, "Don Bluth: Somewhere Out There." I would love to know what you think. - Don youtu.be/7rWzQ0iVNYo
Well this has never happened before…
I reached for a glass and it exploded in my hand. Guess I don’t know my own strength.
