The Tavern Your new favorite NFT marketplace We have recently applied for a grant from the Gzil committee to build an NFT marketplace on Zil2, named ”The Tavern“! Here’s why: 1) Zil2 needs a marketplace. To our knowledge we are the first and currently only builders looking to build one. No marketplace = no infrastructure for NFTs on Zil2. 2) We always wanted to build our own marketplace. OG‘s will remember we had one for ~1 year already in ’22, the goal was always there. This marketplace will integrate ALL Zilliqa NFTs, allow creators to mint their own art and even partner for us to mint collections. 3) There’s a need for marketplaces like ”The Tavern“ in web3. Marketplaces pivoted to cater to traders, and enforced no royalties which screwed both collectors and builders/artists. We will go the opposite route of catering to collectors and builders first. Add that with some gamifications and Shibui lore woven into the final product and The Tavern will look awesome, be fun to use and fill all of Zilliqa‘s NFT needs. Grant details: • the Gzil committee is prepared to give out all 5 grants. You can vote for all grants with the same Gzil. • We encourage everyone to vote ”Yes“ on all five proposals. All five teams are vetted OG builders. Please do not deny these builders that are still here the means to build. The extractive ones have already left long ago.
