You know who else can fix six balls in his mouth?
Most tennis balls held in the mouth by a dog - 6 held by Finley Molloy 🇺🇸 Finley is a golden retriever who loves to swim, play fetch and chase the occasional animal that wanders into his backyard. He set this record in 2020 and it has yet to be broken 🥰

Okay nobody actually believes these robots actually work as claimed, do they? Also, any machine will defend you if you use it right. You can huck a toaster at an attacker.

Fellow Canadian here: I'd recommend not swinging by with your crew to try to rob me of my lawfully owned property. Even if there is no border involved.

More news: Smith & Wesson has acquired Savage Arms. @Smith_WessonInc @SavageArms Interesting things happening in the gun industry. I hope all this consolidation doesn’t end up like the Freedom Group debacle.
An update on the @Ruger_Firearms situation: As of 10/15/26, Ruger has officially confirmed the production suspensions. The distributor letter was genuine, and the company's spokesperson has now acknowledged the changes directly to firearms journalists. Abbey Clary, Ruger's director of media, advertising and public relations, confirmed the changes to Guns.com and American Rifleman. The affected models are as follows: Suspended immediately: LCR, SP101, GP100, Bearcat Suspended after completion of the 2026 production run: Redhawk, Super Redhawk, Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk, Single Six, Vaquero SR1911, PC Carbine/Charger, LC Carbine/Charger M77 series rifles, No. 1, Hawkeye rifles, centerfire Ruger Precision Rifle Not named in the suspension announcement: Wrangler, Super Wrangler, Super GP100, Ruger Precision Rimfire, Mini-14, 10/22, Ruger American rifles the Marlin line. A possibly meaningful caveat is that Ruger claims some product families may return with redesigned components, updated features or modernized manufacturing processes, but no specific replacement models or dates have been announced. Ruger is not going bankrupt, at least not according to publicly available data. Ruger's latest quarterly report showed $158.1 million in sales, up 19% year over year, and $117.5 million in cash and short-term investments against no debt. (ruger.com/news/2026-07-29.ht…) @Beretta_USA currently has 9.93% ownership, and are attempting to increase it to 25%, but that hasn’t been finalized as of right now. (However, if it turns out that the Italians kill the Blackhawk line to sell Ubertis, I will sack Rome like a Visigoth.) Ruger has a 2030 plan they’re supposedly working on, but I don’t know any details of it. Revolvers are a niche market item, but they’re also the pillars Ruger is built on. I don’t know if they plan on abandoning them completely. I don’t know if they’ll last only making .22s, plastic 9mms, and AR-15s. The market is absolutely saturated with those. I’m also not any kind of industry insider, so I don’t know what their outlook is. From what I understand, the whole industry is in a slump right now. Guns are durable goods, the economy is down, and we just had a huge buying spree back in 2020-21. I guess we’ll just have to see how it goes.

That’s $2000 for a Norinco AK. Were they selling them to collectors? Hell, I remember when Romanian AKs were $450!

Flush the bombers, get the subs in launch mode. We are at DEFCON 1.
BREAKING: Debris believed to be from a Chinese rocket has been discovered in a farmer’s cornfield in Minnesota, after the spacecraft’s upper stage reentered Earth’s atmosphere over the United States. The massive metallic object, approximately 11 feet (3.4 meters) wide, was discovered October 14, prompting an investigation by state and federal authorities. According to Ars Technica, the evidence points to a Zhuque-2E rocket launched by Chinese company LandSpace on September 15, carrying 10 satellites for China’s Qianfan broadband constellation, a planned rival to SpaceX’s Starlink. After deploying its satellites, the rocket’s upper stage performed a deorbit maneuver, with its trajectory and diameter closely matching the debris found in Minnesota. Rocket stages are typically directed toward unpopulated ocean areas during controlled disposal, raising questions about whether this reentry went as planned. No injuries were reported, and the object’s origin has not yet been officially confirmed.

The kid has his own energy drink line, too. What makes me laugh is every single one of these dudes looks like he’s name Travis or Trevor, has a can of Copenhagen in his pocket, and drives a jacked-up Chevy Silverado.
🤡 Adam Kadyrov assembles his own “special forces” unit from the children of Chechen officials Ramzan Kadyrov’s son has created “Team K-13” — a new security “unit” where the main recruitment requirement appears to be having the right parents. According to an investigation by Verstka, more than half of the 18 armed members pictured alongside Kadyrov are relatives of the Kadyrov family or children of high-ranking Chechen officials and security officers. The elite squad includes the son of Chechnya’s prime minister, nephews of influential officials, and relatives of Kadyrov and his wife. There was even room for a former dancer from the Nokhcho ensemble who later became a bodyguard. The creators of K-13 solemnly promise to carry out any assignment, anytime, anywhere. What exactly this family-run special forces unit does, however, remains a mystery. Journalists found no information about any actual operations or achievements. So far, the only confirmed special operation is posing for a photoshoot with assault rifles.

An “At The Mountains of Madness” movie but the expedition has the characters from the 1999 cinematic masterpiece The Mummy, starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. It would have a better ending, too. Rick O’Connell doesn’t collapse into gibbering madness.

Overheard a conversation at a gun store today: in Brevard County, Florida, background checks are taking up to five hours. He’s advising customers to come back Monday to pick their purchases up. This is even with a concealed carry permit, he said. Florida has its own background check on top of NICS that is not “instant” even at the best of times. At the worst of times it turns into an additional waiting period. The Gunshine State could do better. This crap is just a meaningless hassle. There’s even a website you can go to to track your background check: fes.fdle.state.fl.us/fes/dea…

At the same time, he said, others are coming back in a few minutes. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. A small price to pay for having stopped gun crime, though. Hold on, I’m being handed a note…
