Five years ago I lived one of the craziest days in a lifetime, recording an Odd Lots interview during the morning peak of what would come to be known as meme mania.
GMEdd.com's Rod Alzmann has seen value in $GME since '17, before all the mania hit the stock. Hear how he stuck to his guns over the years til it paid off.

"We have now passed our second HSR review window, again clearing us of the HSR review requirement... actively engaged in discussions with California regulators...recently received feedback from DFPI and actively working to determine an acceptable path forward..." ... reiterated..
$WILD.TO was a good coffee money pickup for the tender that, somewhat to my surprise, was barely oversubscribed.
Ex post, this was very attractive to oversize rather than just collect my C$.19 spread on 99 shares.
Another datapoint to enhance ze supabase solver.
Again, dyodd, taxes,.. IBKR Roth tender took all of a few minutes from the C$1.26 limit that filled a couple weeks back, the ability to self-service submit instructions same day, and the proper US/CA treaty treatment (for deemed dividend situations)
Good take. Good outcome, too.
Today's results are better understood as a left-center wave, not a woke one. Trump lost big but so did a lot of far left ideas.
- Billionaire tax failed in CA
- Transgender school sports restrictions passed in WA
- Increased penalties for fentanyl dealing and even possession passed in CO
- Wiener won over Chan in SF
Nationwide the electoral mood was normie lib wine mom, not far left. A victory against the horseshoe.
Thankfully, Trump handpicked many far-right primary winners that went on to yield senate seats to center-left democrats. Seats they hadn’t held in decades. Those are six year terms. Huge self-own.
Crazy how denigrating a dead man’s final cause, the Lindsey Graham Russian sanctions bill, could directly lead to his sister losing and weakening his own senate (after the lame duck) minority. Not Sad! That actions have consequences.
$UTMD surprised me in only seeing ~half the offered shares (20% of outstanding) tendered.
Anyone have some dope proration scenario models / prompts they'd like to share?
This morning in $UTMD a good example of broker operating choices mattering. Spot price exceeded the odd lot tender fixed $75--allowing nimble shareholders to sell to Mr. Market this morning at prices in excess of the delayed tender payment's present value.
