One of the contributing factors in the GOP wipeout this election is the feeling among Americans that the GOP has done nothing to reverse the foreign invasion. Now we have the data to prove their feelings are justified.

There was no increased crossover vote.
NBC exit polls showed 5% Republican crossover in 2024 and 6% in 2026.
Republicans stuck to their guns. They voted the same.
20 million new Democrat votes materialized.
That is the story.

Two weeks after Obama won re-election in 2012, Republicans across the country felt defeated. I even remember how defeated the donor class felt.
About 10 days after the November 2012 election, a donor in Palm Beach introduced me to a young 19-year-old man named Charlie Kirk. No one really knew who he was then. He had only started his then-unknown organization a few months earlier.
Over the next 12 years, he built an incredible movement that altered the course of history during that decade.
Unfortunately, he was killed last year, but God sent us Charlie Kirk when we most needed him. I believe God will send us more people to help save this country again. The history of America proves it.
Here's the thing: Charlie did a lot of hard work behind the scenes and had a very humble approach to everything he was doing. He did not seek the spotlight. He just did the work, very hard work, long hours, unappreciated for many years. That's what it's going to take for patriots who want to step up and do the work.
There was only one Charlie Kirk. I don't expect another one to come along, but I do expect God to send us some patriots and some good people of faith to do the work that's required to save this country -- the last remaining hope for mankind.
Most Republicans and Democrats at the political level don't really seem to care about anything but themselves. We need people who care about something bigger than themselves like Charlie did. He gave everything. Even if he had not sacrificed his life on September 10, 2025, he had already made huge sacrifices of his life to work every day to return this country to its first principles.
America is never done if we believe -- and take action.

I just spoke to @VDHanson about what the midterm results mean for Trump, the Republican Party, MAGA, and 2028.
Here’s what he told me:
The Republican losses were predictable. Since 1900 the White House party has lost House seats in ~90% of midterms (Senate in ~75%). The size of this wave (dozens in House, 7-9 Senate) is the real outlier.
Trump has roughly 70 days to lock in judges, cabinet picks, and nominees before the new Congress arrives.
With a ~45-seat Republican Senate, Trump will have to keep all Republicans in line or face a “veto-proof” Democratic Congress.
Trump can and will act unilaterally on foreign policy and executive orders. Historical precedent is clear. “The imperial presidency operates as they wish,” Hanson says.
The “affordability” story was heavily media-driven. Inflation is roughly one-third of 2022’s 9.1%. Family income is up ~$14k, GDP is stronger, stocks are +20k, poverty is down. The real issue is the 21% cumulative price jump he inherited—and the administration never clearly explained how slower inflation + higher incomes fixes it.
Trump never explained in full why the Iran campaign was necessary. The first 38 days were a historic success; stopping short and endless talk of negotiations let Iran claim they stopped him. The messaging, not the campaign itself, was the biggest problem.
Unlike this Congress, the new Democratic majority will have iron party discipline. That contrast will matter.
2028 starts now. The Vance-Rubio pairing will face immediate pressure—many will want Rubio at the top of the ticket, but Vance can’t run as VP again. Democrats will jump in fast. Their nominee will almost certainly come from the left of the party.
The Republican path to recovery, Hanson argues, runs through results, not rhetoric. A strong economy in 2026-27, a finished Iran campaign, and visible progress on affordability give the next nominee a real chance. Without those, the structural advantages of the new Democratic Congress become decisive.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Gov. Ron DeSantis just BLEW UP and went on an America first RAMPAGE on national TV
"I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE."
"THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT."
"They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it."
"This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate."
A fire was just lit under this man.
Honestly have not seen him get that fired up in a LONG time
We definitely deserved better from our Senate. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!

Every critic of gay marriage said this was the logical outcome; virtually every mainstream proponent of gay marriage assured us it would never happen.
And here we are.
California city makes history allowing throuples, foursomes to legally register as partners trib.al/injZnvo
There’s a reason why Florida was the only state that went darker red.
Florida was the only state “immune” from the blue wave.
That’s not a coincidence.
They were the only state that fully cleansed their election system.
Desantis deserves credit for that.
Mara Lago area even flipped a blue seat.
Florida will eventually become the template.
Here’s how Florida protected it’s election system:
(Brave search)
SB 90 (signed May 2021)
•Required voters to renew their vote-by-mail registration every election cycle(previously valid for four years)
•Restricted ballot drop boxes to early-voting hours and required staffing
•Banned third-party ballot collection("ballot harvesting"); possessing more than two mail ballots became a crime
•Required the last four digits of a Social Security or driver's license number to register or request a mail ballot
•Banned private/outside funding of election administration (the so-called "Zuckerbucks" ban)
•Mandated hourly real-time turnout data on a statewide dashboard
SB 524 (signed April 2022)
•Created the Office of Election Crimes and Security (OECS), a 25-person unit under the Secretary of State, one of the first dedicated election-crime units in the nation
•Made collecting more than two mail ballots a felony (previously a misdemeanor)
•Required annual voter-roll cleanup(previously every two years)
•Banned ranked-choice voting statewide
•Raised fines for voter-registration violations from $1,000 to $50,000
Florida SAVE Act / HB 991 (signed April 2026)
•Expanded citizenship verification at voter registration
•Removed student ID as an acceptable form of voter identification
•Tightened candidate qualification rules
————
Did you catch the important “safeguards” that protected against yesterday’s election steal?
They centered around registration integrity, vote counting integrity and ballot integrity.
And “student ID” is not valid to vote.
Citizenship requirement to vote.
This is all coming nationwide.
But first you have to expose and prosecute the fraudulent election system officials to kick off the demand for a nationwide cleansing.
I believe that is incoming.

If your takeaway from the Texas election results is “it’s because Paxton was a bad candidate,” congrats, you’re retarded.
This is national. Mass migration. Birthright citizenship. Communists in our institutions. A war we didn’t want.
A perfect storm for our enemies within.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

That’s up 387% since 1999, about 6% a year.
Inflation over the same period: about 2.6% a year.

Understand the implications of what happened in Texas last night.
Gina Hinojosa has called on Gov. Abbott to end state & local cooperation with ICE & she can order that on day one.
Hinojosa voted against the 2017 SB 4 as a TX state rep. The bill was essentially a sanctuary cities ban and required TX law enforcement to cooperate with ICE detainers. She then voted against another SB 4 in 2023, which made it a state crime to cross illegally into Texas.
Should there be another border crisis in coming years, there will likely be no resistance from Texas at the border. No Texas DPS, no TX National Guard, no razor wire or water buoys, and no Operation Lone Star, which Hinojosa called a “dog and pony show” and “political theater”.
Remember when 15,000 Haitians surged illegally into Del Rio, TX in 2021 under the international bridge? That was only stopped because Texas DPS responded on Abbott’s orders and physically blocked further crossings by lining up their cruisers to form a wall. The Biden Border Patrol was caught off guard and offered almost no resistance, except for some horseback agents who were falsely slandered for “whipping”.
Additionally, because Republicans failed to pass any legislation codifying President Trump’s border security measures, if Dems take the White House in 2028, that Dem president could, if he/she wants to, reverse every single Trump border security policy immediately upon taking office because they were all done at the executive level, and they can order Border Patrol to go back to a passive catch & release policy like we saw under Biden.

Hanson is never wrong
🚨What happens if Trump loses the House and Senate?
Clinton & Obama already set precedent.
They weren't done at all in their last 2 years.
Victor Davis Hanson explains:
Clinton fell to 37% approval but left office at about 66%. In between, he was impeached but not convicted and bombed Serbia for 78 days without Congress.
Obama's approval fell to 38% and still left office near 60%. He bombed Libya in 2011 without Congress, ran hundreds of drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia, and started bombing ISIS in Iraq and Syria in 2014 without a new vote. He said "I've got a pen and I've got a phone," and skipped the Senate on the Iran deal and Paris.
Low approval and a hostile Congress didn't finish them. For both, it was the best thing that ever happened to them in some ways.
