One of the advantages of being in Sydney was that I was able to have a face to face meeting with Bill Bannear of @ThinkPlace. Bill is doing some of the most interesting thinking globally regarding the building of relationships across systems as an outcome in their own right. We need to stop trying to design the solution & instead design for the relational conditions that enable the emergence of many solutions: medium.com/@bill.bannear/the… Bill has agreed to lead a virtual session for the NHS, which will be co-hosted by @WarwickBSchool @HorizonsNHS & @NENC_NHS

A philosophy that's served me well over the years is "always assume that other people are acting with a positive intent". That's why Hanlon's Razor is such a useful mental model. It states "never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by neglect." Other versions replace "neglect" with "stupidity". It helps us see the world in a more positive light, stops negative assumptions and improves relationships: fs.blog/mental-model-hanlons… By @farnamstreet' Graphic: Matthew Cook.
