Yesterday, I attended the AgriConnect X Summit themed “Bridging the Divide: Uniting Allies for Food Security and the Future of African Agriculture.”
One major takeaway: food security is much bigger than food production. Agriculture connects farmers, research, finance, technology

All these men checking up on me while I was inactive on here, I know your plans. Una no go ever fit shift my pant
My neighbour connected me to his WiFi, and I’ve been using it for free for over three months. Recently, the subscription expired, and I noticed he was struggling financially.
Yesterday, I offered to pay for the WiFi since I’d also been benefiting from it. This man said no! He said he doesn’t like collecting money from a woman and would renew it himself when he had the money.
Omo, I just stood there looking at him. 😭 I’m not trying to prove anything; I just want to help because you’ve helped me too. What exactly are you forming?
Are there still men who would rather struggle than accept genuine help from a woman simply because she’s a woman?

“The Young Man Was Restless After K!ll!ng His Ex-Girlfriend” — Man Narrates How Suspected K!ller of Mmesoma Was Tracked Down in Uga, Anambra State
According to the man’s account, on Friday, 16 October 2026, Mmesoma took a motorcycle ride to her ex-boyfriend’s house. When she arrived, she called him, and he told her he was coming. She then collected the motorcycle rider’s phone number and told him to return and pick her up in a few minutes. She flashed the rider’s number, which he saved.
Two days later, on Sunday, the suspect, Chima, reportedly appeared at a popular market, telling someone that they were looking for his girlfriend. He claimed that when he travelled to Benin weeks earlier, he was accused of stealing gold worth ₦18 million, suggesting that the people involved might have kidn@pped his girlfriend.
He reportedly went to the local security commander to explain the situation. The commander questioned him, asking whether anyone had accused him of k!ll!ng the girl. When Chima answered no, the commander reportedly asked why he was bothering himself.
On Tuesday, the commander and Chima went to the police station to make an entry. Following police interrogation, Mmesoma’s picture began circulating across social media platforms as people searched for her.
When the motorcycle rider saw her picture, he reportedly told his fellow riders that he had taken the young woman to a house on Friday. Concerned about her disappearance, the riders informed the commander, who then took the rider to the police.
The police subsequently obtained a search warrant. By then, Chima was already in detention.
The motorcycle rider led them to the location where he had dropped Mmesoma off on Friday. Upon arriving at the house, they reportedly found a broken phone and a SIM card along the way. The SIM card was identified as Mmesoma’s, and the suspect subsequently confessed.
“I don't blame her for going to the man's house. She went there in good faith. If the girl had known the man was dang£rous, she wouldn't have accepted his invitation.”
— Man who claims to be from Uga, Anambra State, speaks during a livestream about the de@th of Umuora Mmesoma.
According to him, the suspect allegedly told the commander that he rented an apartment and a shop for Mmesoma in Oko because she was his girlfriend.
He further claimed that after the man travelled, Mmesoma sent him a message saying she no longer wanted to continue the relationship. The man allegedly said the late Mmesoma had another suitor.
The man also claimed that the suspect later invited Mmesoma to come and take his measurements for clothes, and she honoured the invitation.
He maintained that Mmesoma went to the man's house in good faith and would not have visited him if she had known he was dangerous.
