I've had left wing history professors (I went to a very left wing university) but a key rule is no historian is ever ideological in their study; historians can usually tell from a mile away when someone is coming from a certain ideology. There are left wing historians like Eric Hobsbawn (Marxist) but most people understand that he has a clear ideological bias, and therefore has focus on some areas over others. Modern historiography is usually quite non-ideological. It's not the job of the historian to tell you what to believe, just to assess the source material and come to a conclusion.

Let's be clear: women have little power. At best, they require the state to substitute their inadequacies (I can't do anything about taxes). But all the shaming are just...words...online.
