This is about one of the most disgusting ads running in Michigan, directly appealing to fears of white right wing racists.
There’s a commercial that said “liberals are the new racist” & the commercial is narrated by a white woman and she says “I can’t even show my face because my skin is white.” Yallllllll…they have lost their minds.

Abdul El-Sayed or Mike Rogers: El-Sayed does not support the Muslim Brotherhood. Rogers suggested working with members of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012. El-Sayed has MD degree & PhD in public health. He wants to make healthcare available for everyone. Rogers has no comparable degrees & has voted against affordable healthcare.

Abdul El Sayed has Obama promoting MEDICARE FOR ALL at his rally, presenting it as finishing what he started and I’ll be honest I teared up. We’ve been through so much. But that’s where we need go.

Despite his name and religion, Abdul El-Sayed follows an upper Midwest tradition
Abdul El-Sayed doesn't come across as a Squad member at all. Clearly isn't that into culture war stuff or iconography. He comes across as a brown version of Paul Wellstone or Russ Feingold.

Best summary I've seen so far of how terrible offensive coaching is at Michigan under Whittingham and Beck. With its defense and offense players Michigan could be undefeated at this point in the season with decent coaches. wolverineswire.usatoday.com/…

If only Obama was willing to say Medicare for All when in office long before repeating El-Sayed's campaign slogan yesterday.
Obama not only likely closed the door on MAGA in Michigan, this evening. But he also delivered a blow against the likes of Third Way and the Neera Tandens in an indirect way. I hope he keeps moving in this direction. Hearing him repeat Abdul's slogan was kind of a surprise.

The biggest takeaway I had from that whole speech is Obama clearly isn’t holding Abdul’s past comments against him and very clearly genuinely likes the guy. Also getting Obama to clap along to Medicare for All…absolute leftist cultural victory

OBAMA: Some people say Abdul didn’t like some of the things you did as president. So Abdul didn't agree with some things. You know who else doesn't agree with everything I do. Michelle Obama.

Help get @abdulelsayed elected to the senate! Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy—and Abdul is the one fighting to protect it. Get involved and help at abdulforsenate.com/vote go.abdulforsenate.com We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too. We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries. That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next. Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells. Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it. #abdulelsayed #democracy #jewish #midterms

El-Sayed: I have never been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I never will be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I'm interested in serving the United States, I'm interested in swearing an oath to the constitution that every senator has sworn an oath to.  If the question about my faith is the issue, which Mike Rogers wants it to be, I think it is sad and beneath him, and frankly beneath the President of the United States to make that an issue because under our constitution you're guaranteed the right to pray as you choose to pray

Mike Rogers voted to send $250M to the Muslim Brotherhood, Abdul El Sayed did not. Mike Rogers voted to send $30B to Israel, Abdul El Sayed did not. Mike Rogers supports spending $100B on Iran War, Abdul El Sayed does not. Fact is, Abdul El Sayed is the true America first candidate for Senate. Let’s send him to the US Senate.
