अगर क़ानून का राज है, तो यह चुप्पी क्यों?
@DelhiPolice ने हमारे दो साथियों को उनके घरों से उठाया, परिवारों को की Special Cell, Defence Colony का पता देकर वहाँ आने को कहा — लेकिन जब परिजन वहाँ पहुँचे, तो घंटों तक कोई स्पष्ट जानकारी नहीं दी गई।
रात करीब 1:30 बजे, जब @IYCLegalCell की टीम ने Special Cell के कार्यालय पहुँचकर जवाब माँगा, तब जाकर उनकी मौजूदगी की पुष्टि की गई।
क्या यही “प्रक्रिया” है?
क्या परिवारों को अंधेरे में रखना, वकीलों को जानकारी न देना और अधिकारों को टालना ही अब नई कार्यप्रणाली बन गई है?
हम स्पष्ट करना चाहते हैं -
लोकतंत्र में असहमति अपराध नहीं है।
कानून से ऊपर कोई नहीं है, और कानून का पालन सत्ता पर बैठे लोगों को भी करना होगा।
हम अपने साथियों के साथ खड़े हैं।
डराने-धमकाने की राजनीति के सामने, संवैधानिक अधिकारों की लड़ाई जारी रहेगी।

2014 से देश की सत्ता में बैठी भाजपा को आज कांग्रेस से लोकतंत्र बचाने के लिए रैलियाँ निकालनी पड़ रही हैं। नितिन नवीन जी और अमित शाह जी, यह राजनीतिक विडंबना नहीं तो और क्या है?
जिस कांग्रेस को जनता ने विपक्ष की भूमिका सौंपी है, उसी कांग्रेस के सवालों से लोकतंत्र को ख़तरा बताने वाली भाजपा शायद भूल गई है कि लोकतंत्र में विपक्ष सत्ता का विकल्प ही नहीं, उसकी जवाबदेही का प्रहरी भी होता है।
विपक्ष सवाल पूछे तो लोकतंत्र ख़तरे में, विपक्ष विरोध करे तो अराजकता, और विपक्ष जनता के अधिकारों की बात करे तो लोकतंत्र बचाने के लिए भाजपा को मैदान में उतरना पड़ता है!
वाह! सत्ता भी आपकी, सरकार भी आपकी, संस्थाएँ भी आपके अधीन - और लोकतंत्र को ख़तरा भी विपक्ष से?
अमित शाह जी और नितिन नवीन जी, लोकतंत्र को बचाने के नाम पर विपक्ष के ख़िलाफ़ रैलियाँ निकालने से पहले यह समझ लीजिए:
लोकतंत्र में विपक्ष का होना समस्या नहीं, विपक्ष के सवालों से सत्ता का असहज होना समस्या है।
कांग्रेस को लोकतंत्र बचाने के लिए भाजपा के प्रमाणपत्र की आवश्यकता नहीं है। लोकतंत्र को बचाने के लिए भाजपा को यह स्वीकार करना होगा कि सत्ता जनता देती है, लेकिन सत्ता से सवाल पूछने का अधिकार भी जनता का ही है।

हमारे यहाँ बच्चों से कहा जाता है कि खूब पढ़ो, बड़े सपने देखो, देश का नाम रोशन करो। लेकिन ज़रा उन सरकारी स्कूलों के बच्चों के बारे में सोचिए, जिनके स्कूल में बिजली तक नहीं है।
जिस उम्र में उन्हें अपने सपनों के लिए लड़ना चाहिए, उस उम्र में उन्हें बुनियादी सुविधाओं के लिए क्यों जूझना पड़े?
