No one wanted the last @UnityBlackpool #forestschool session to end, especially when we had 'smores'!

Today at cooking we made fudge, delicious treat! @UnityBlackpool

Super hot day on Monday @UnityBlackpool forest school but they still made a fire and sat quietly around for 30 minutes for their bread to cook! So many skills put into this from the fire, to preparing sticks, making dough and cooking it! Delicious with Nutella.

Wonderful session today @UnityBlackpool #forestschool making charcoal pencils on the fire, drawing, making assault courses and playing in the water! Lovely hearing how they are using their coping tools outside of the sessions too. 🍃

We had a mix of things on the go last night utilising all of the chicken thighs. They made a broth which they used in the bounty curry instead of a stock cube (and drank the rest!) Crispy chicken skin snacks and homemade flat breads with no input from me! #proud @UnityBlackpool

So wonderful to be back at forest school with @UnityBlackpool after 2 bank holidays. Today the students really bloomed, showing teamwork, confidence and lots of resilience.
