Renegades so lucky to win that. Only avoided the super over because the Hurricanes keeper took the ball in front of the stumps which constitutes a no-ball. That game deserved a super over. #WBBL12

Wow. Not only did Tom Papley return a positive drug test, he was also driving on a suspended license. Monster ban coming. Absolute idiot. #afl

Tom Papley has been done for drug driving. A lengthy suspension will almost certainly follow. So incredibly stupid. #afl

Yikes. The republicans are getting absolutely towelled up in the midterms. It’s a bloodbath. #midterms26

RBA is cancelled.

What is happening at Junction Oval? Do these players have a 9pm curfew or something, or are they worried about rain? #WBBL12

I now know @CollingwoodFC’s fixture off by heart and am already assessing which games I want to attend with my respite worker. So far I’m looking at Round 10 V Richmond and Round 16 V GWS. #afl #AFLFixture #gopies

With three matches scheduled for the @MCG in Round 18 of the 2027 @AFL season, the match between @CollingwoodFC and @GeelongCats will almost certainly get the Thursday night or Friday night time slot. Which will it be? Please vote and retweet! #afl #AFLFixture #gopies

When will the @AFL make a decision on whether to move the start of the 2027 @aflwomens season to June, and will they move it to June or defer the move for a year until Tassie comes in? Please vote and retweet! #afl #aflwomens

AFL still undecided on a start time for next AFLW season, and may defer their call until after the current season. Every chance the move to a June start is deferred until 2028 when Tassie comes in. The longer they wait, the more likely it’s deferred. #afl #aflwomens

Oh lovely. Rain or showers forecast every day this week, with an icy blast due to hit on Saturday. I think I might go to sleep for the week. #MelbourneWeather

Aussies uncompetitive here. Might not even make the 99 they made in Gqeberha. This is inexcusable. #savaus

Aussies end up with a lead of exactly 100. Perhaps a little less than we’d hoped but if we can get a few wickets while we’re still in front then it’s pretty handy. We can’t afford to make the same mistakes we did in the first session on day one. #savaus

Aussies go into day 3 leading by a single run, having not lost a wicket in the final session yesterday. Ingles and Carey have put on a 145 run partnership. The changes have worked. #savaus

I like the Pies’ draw. It’s been ranked 6th easiest. Some good double-ups in there. We play the Bulldogs on a Friday night for the 12th year in a row and the Blues on a Thursday night for the third year in a row. Bring it on. #afl #AFLFixture #gopies

Was it always the @AFL’s plan to release the 2027 fixture on 29 October instead of 12 November, was it brought forward at the request of clubs and fans, is it due to the AFLW season likely moving to an earlier window, or other reasons? Please vote and retweet! #afl #AFLFixture

I made a slight booboo. Pies have three Thursday night and three Friday night games in the first 16 rounds, not two and four. There was a mistake in the fixture in the notification from the AFL Live app. The fixture in the matches tab is correct. #afl #AFLFixture #gopies

2027 footy fixture is out. Only 30 minutes late so just a 15 minute lunchtime detention for you @AFL. @CollingwoodFC get two Thursday night and four Friday night games in the first 16 rounds. A 30 minute delay is a good trade off for an October release. #afl #AFLFixture #gopies

No footy fixture and no confirmed release time. 15 minute lunchtime detention for you @AFL. You’ve missed the midday deadline. Release the fixture now please or you’ll get a 25 minute afterschool. I don’t want to wait until 3pm. #afl #AFLFixture
