ALT outside, a man in a wheel chair happily pats a Rottweiler that's standing in front of him. they are surrounded by many people and dogs who have lined up to wish him happy birthday.
ALT a little black and white corgi puppy sits on the stainless steel table at a vet’s office. the wall behind her is a vibrant cyan, contrasting the silhouette of her big black ears sticking out at a diagonal angle. her eyes are somewhat plaintive or concerned as she waits to hear her diagnosis, and a burnt orange leash hangs down over the edge of the table, presumably to catch her if she starts to float off again.
ALT a photo of a street from an upper-floor window. a gaggle of 10 dogs of various sizes, shapes, and colors is clustered together on the left side of the photo, near a parked car. across the street, a person in a navy blue hoodie and a baseball cap leans down holding their camera to take a picture of the good boys and girls.
ALT a light brown and white pitbull looks right at the camera. she has a light pink nose mottled with black, light brown eyes, and a large goose-egg lump on the top of her noggin, over by her left ear. her name is strawberry.
ALT strawberry the pitbull sits in some grass and looks up at you while wearing a felt strawberry costume. it’s a red cape with yellow dots for the seeds, and she’s wearing a green leafy hat, with one leaf gingerly propped up on top of her head lump.
ALT a mostly white pitbull with a light brown spot over her eye and ear and a big raised lump on her head snuggles with two kids on a gray sofa. she’s tucked in under a striped blanket, her head resting on one kid’s chest and with the other leaning lovingly on her back. she has the most contented and peaceful sleeping face.
ALT a little chocolate and tan chihuahua is held aloft by a pale-skinned person's hand. the pup's tiny front feet splay out toward the edges of the photo, and her ears are back, accentuating her round noggin. she's got a cute closed-lip smile just for you, and the tan accents over her eyes brighten her expression even more.
ALT Fishtopher, a brown and black striped tabby cat. He lays in the shelter next to a chrome bowl. His large head is hung low to the floor of the kennel, as he looks up with sad green eyes and very large, round cheeks. His ears are slightly down and his mouth looks small and almost like a frown. He protects his body with his round tail in a very sad, closed off manner.
ALT Fishtopher, a brown and black striped tabby cat, now in his forever home. He stands up and leans against the couch but the lower half of his body is blocked by the camera person's leg. He looks slightly upward with large, sparkling green eyes. His ears are pointed up and forward and his mouth is almost in a wide smile. His pink nose is a much brighter pink now, and his large cheeks are still large, but smaller in comparison.
ALT a person’s legs are visible while they sit in a stool. they have one foot propped up and the other gray sneaker resting on the wood floor. a teeny tiny tricolor puppy with silvery gray, brown, and white fur is resting her chin on the toe of the gray running shoe, which is bigger than she is, while the rest of her body is curled up beside it. her eyes look a little droopy, like maybe she could go for a nap right now.
