Algeria seized the farms and the oil and still can’t feed itself.
After independence in 1962, Ben Bella handed abandoned French farms and factories to state worker committees.
When Boumediene took power in a 1965 coup, he nationalized the oil and gas in 1971 so the rents could fund nearly everything the state did.
His Agrarian Revolution broke the big farms into cooperatives and promised a thousand socialist villages, yet only about 200 were built and the land never produced enough.
Before the mid 1980s oil crash the money covered the shortages. After prices collapsed, young Algerians rioted in 1988 over empty shelves and no jobs, and the army killed hundreds.
That ended one party rule and opened a civil war that killed up to 200,000.
Algeria still runs on oil and gas.

After Desirée Mariottini was drugged, gang raped and left dying in a Rome drug den in October 2018, police arrested West African dealers Mamadou Gara, Brian Minthe, Alinno Chima and Yusif Salia.
But when the 2024 appeals court reclassified the killing it dropped Gara’s life sentence to 22 years and reduced the others. Italy’s top court made it final that October.
After the crime, San Lorenzo’s left wing residents blocked Salvini from laying a rose. Because in the victimhood olympics of the left, African murderers and rapists rank higher than their victim.

Politicians called it reprehensible and thuggish.
But then in May 2025, the Department of Justice dropped the plan, citing local objections from the start and the site’s unsuitability.

A law student and a museum worker were charged.
The media was quick to remind us of the terrorism of the IRA. A body count of over 1,800 out of 3,500 during The Troubles.

They were targeting Elon
They were targeting him with fake charges because the socialist-industrial complex is terrified that he would expose their long grift.
They came after him for the Model 3 and Elon’s claims around its potential.
That potential was realized, and it became, along with the Model Y, the best-selling electric vehicle ever created.
These were fake charges to try to stop somebody from building the best category-defining product.
Let that sink in: that's how evil these motherfuckers are.
The loooooong grift has been exposed: socialist grifters are stealing our tax dollars to fund fringe lunacy, NGOs and government programs without oversight or audits.
They’re parasites incapable of creating any product or service that has to compete in the open market.
Elon creates a couple of cutting-edge products each year, and half of them succeed.
Some of them actually change the world. Some of them fail brutally.
It's called capitalism. It's called creation.
This is what moves the human condition forward: trying things.
