Woolston at 4.30pm today in the wake of the @ABPMarathon No sign of anyone clearing up after the event and litter now spread far and wide - total disrespect for the local community @dailyecho @SouthamptonCC
Note how despite all that extra money coming into the premier league over the period average attendance growth has been lacklustre
Poland has the highest percentage rise in attendance among 26 leagues studied by football observatory between 2003-2018 cc @M_Wawrzynowski

So the super league has reared it's head again - back in 2012 it was one of my first posts for Row Z! rowzfootball.wordpress.com/2…
Certainly learnt not to underestimate how emotive the Wimbledon/MK Dons affair remains. We're 14 years on now and the anger doesn't look like dissipating - maybe even solidifying.

Happy 50th birthday to a true #SaintsFC legend, @mattletiss7!
Someone needs a vision, because believe me after a decade of austerity the public sector is on the point of crisis and our social fabric lies in tatters.
You do not have to like the UK Labour party’s economic policies to be taken aback by their sweep. To hear John McDonnell at the Labour conference is to believe absolutely that he has a transforming vision. ft.com/content/299c8f3c-bfdd…

Here's a question is the die-hard football fan a myth, or does our relationship with the game change over time - sometimes intense, sometimes less so and do we adopt different roles - player, spectator, parent, coach, die-hard, neutral?

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I can't shake the feeling that the internet has become quite a dull, corporate controlled space which offers more diversion than intellectual stimulation.
An era defining colossus. Funniest thing was the way he reacted as if every shot on target his defenders allowed the opposition room for was a personal affront. As an opposing fan nothing like the sight of him on his arse yelling with the ball in the back of the net though!

Pretty much the same can be said across the public sector - experienced managers have been axed, or else opted to take voluntary severance in their droves leaving a huge skills and experience gap. When junior staff do step up they don't have the benefit of an experienced mentor.
