I used to take a lot of pride in being a truly solo dev who did absolutely everything - art, code, design, music, etc etc. A lot of time learning a lot of disciplines, now rendered meaningless by AI. I know established devs still have an edge on the vibecoders but the market saturation is about to become absurd and as of yet the industry is providing no solutions. #gamedev

In the Neptune level of GROUND ZERO HERO there's arcade cabinets that crash to the ground as space junk. They're all parodies of classic @PlayAcclaim games - Shadow Ham, Two Rocks & Mortal Wombat. Because I can't leave well enough alone, I'll be making them playable. Any ideas? #indiegame

Shadow Ham will be based on an old mobile game I designed years ago called Monotaur (incidentally Jeff Minter wrote a nice blog post about it at the time) It was basically Tilt to Live meets Ikaruga, if those words make sense to anyone reading.
