I will plan to visit these places when I’m
In Philly in a few weeks. Thank you for the recommendations!
Man, the last time I was called the c-word and b-word this many times was when I said something critical about the Heritage Foundation. You think people would know me better as a person based on a few posts per week by now! 🥸🤷♀️

Americans don’t like chaos, narcissism, tariffs, corruption, Putin, rudeness to our allies, arrogance & indecency. The GOP should embrace our roots: free markets, economic freedom, peace through strength, federalism, law and order, low taxes, pro-life… and we should act like leaders of the free world.
If only being a classless, graceless winner was the worst thing about this clown. And I NEVER want to hear about AIPAC or the loyalty of an American politician sympathetic to Israel ever again.

Today would be a good day for the party to begin turning away from JD Vance.
Peter is right about this. Jews argue for the sake of heaven. The word though is not “some.” It’s two words: “self respecting.” Self respecting American Jews would never vote for Abdul, Mamdani or anyone affiliated with the DSA. Pick me AsAJews however are a different story.
There's one small, unglamorous, word that would immensely improve public discourse about Israel, American Jews and antisemitism.
It's the word "some."
Every time I hear a pro-Israel Jewish pundit declaring that "Abdul El-Sayed makes Jews feel unsafe" or "Jews feel uncomfortable in today's Democratic Party," I think: What's with the royal we?
We Jews are famously disputatious. And that division now extends to basic questions about the nature of Israeli state.
39% of American Jews think Israel committed genocide (Washington Post, Sept 2025)
A plurality of American Jews under 35 favor a single democratic state from the river to the sea. (Jewish Voter Resource Center, May 2026)
So yes, some American Jews fear Abdul El-Sayed and the Democratic Party's pro-Palestinian direction. But others love it.
Is the divide 50-50? No. It's probably somewhere between 75-25 and 60-40. (As a rough proxy, Mamdani won about a third of the Jewish vote). But it sure as heck doesn't entitle anyone to project their own views onto American Jews as a whole.
So, next time, include the word "some."
Because no one elected you Pope.

My preference for next Tuesday is a split decision that brings some humility to both parties. I hope the corrupt politicians and the antisemites lose, and I hope good, honest, and decent people win. The R and D thing is almost secondary to me at this point. I want both parties to get the memo that candidate quality matters and that failing to police your own side has consequences. Republicans, frankly, deserve to lose the House and I think they will, and it will be a wakeup call. But the Democrats don't deserve to win the Senate and I hope they don't, and I hope missing that opportunity will teach them something.
America needs two healthy parties. Right now we have none.

If you’re under 30, the most important thing you need to understand about Stevens’ endorsement is that, just 10 years ago, a candidate who (a) signed a letter urging the Muslim Brotherhood to eliminate pro democracy dissidents in Egypt, or (b) refused to disavow a surrogate who claimed America deserved 9/11 or an ad that claimed you can’t afford groceries because bloodthirsty Israelis love to kill children, or (c) said “hurt people hurt people” about a terrorist who tried to murder dozens of children, would not have polled above 2% in a Democratic primary, and that today a Democrat who says that supporting a candidate like the above is a bridge too far in the name of party loyalty is being called a traitor by the Democrat Senate Minority Leader.
Haley Stevens is a patriot who put country over party.
It wasn’t that long ago that distancing oneself from a candidate who refused to condemn antisemitism was considered the logical thing to do, not a brave statement.
What in the world is happening in Monroe, La, next week that gives the Hilton Garden Inn the audacity to charge $300/night?
