Until next time, summer.
The long days have faded, the light has softened and the winds have shifted across the links.
Few golfing experiences compare to a round at Royal St. George’s.
With winter approaching, there is still an opportunity to experience one of England’s most celebrated links courses.

Four par 3s, each with a character of its own.
From the distinctive 3rd and the iconic ‘Maiden’ to the demanding 11th and storied 16th, they are among the most memorable holes at Royal St George’s.
There's a certain stillness in Sandwich at this time of year.
The fairways begin to take on their autumn tones, the light softens across the links and every contour feels that little more pronounced.
A timeless corner of England.
A reverse look down the formidable 14th - ‘Suez Canal’ - towards Sandwich Bay.
Out of bounds runs the full length of the right-hand side, while the ditch crossing the fairway adds another layer to one of Royal St George’s most exacting par 5s.
A timeless links. An unforgettable day.
For those wishing to experience the links at Sandwich, plans for the 2028 season can now begin.

The penultimate hole asks for control rather than excess.
A gentle dogleg from right to left, the 17th at Sandwich demands precision into a green guarded by a false front, trouble long and bunkers either side.
A quietly exacting test, just one hole from home.
Today, we recognise the greenkeeping team at Royal St George’s, together with those who care for golf courses around the world.
Their skill, dedication and attention to detail play an invaluable role in the game we all enjoy.

Congratulations to Luke Metcalf of Tandridge Golf Club, winner of the South East of England Links Championship.
A composed performance across the links saw Luke finish on a winning score of 282, securing the title by three strokes.
The ninth, from another perspective.
A fitting view for the ninth month of the year, looking back across the closing stretch of the front nine in Sandwich.
A sweeping view across the links, with Sandwich Bay sitting quietly beyond and Maiden providing the perfect foreground.
Sit back and take in the view from the Championship tee of the 4th, the Himalaya bunker and one of the world’s finest par-4s.
The Hut at Royal St George’s isn’t a traditional halfway-house stop.
Set later in the round, it offers a welcome pause before the final six - a bite to eat, a ginger beer and time to reflect before the demanding journey back to the clubhouse.
The ninth, seen from above.
Known as ‘Corsets’, the approach remains its defining challenge, with two deep bunkers guarding the left and an undulating green demanding both precision and a carefully judged second shot.
A memorable day in Sandwich awaits.
