Catching up on AFL video and 17-year-old Angeibel Gomez turning around a 3-2 slider at 108 MPH for a double immediately stood out. Double-A opponents hit roughly .120 against that slider this year with a whiff rate just shy of 50%. Safe to say Gomez is ahead of his years.

As long as Dave Toub is the special teams coordinator, this Chiefs team will always have to outplay that unit. The defense did it there, but they’ll have to keep doing it all season.
