Utah try to keep a big healthy challenge, impossible. So brutal in what should've been an improvement year for them. Likely now just a holding year waiting for next season, already, which sucks.
Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. has sustained a torn MCL in his right knee and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Jackson will not require surgery.

My Standings Predictions. The East is going to be insane, 1-12 is so fluid. So many reasons to be hyped for this season.

Say WHAT! Shoutout Trent Jr for getting his payday, but man he has not been that good in Milwaukee, especially this last year Would’ve expected him to get close to vet-min, but kudos to him for getting his bag

What feels notable to me here is the timing. Why is this coming out now? Why was this not settled as the trade was being negotiated? Why let an agreement be made so publicly that Kawhi could go to Kyle Lowry's retirement ceremony only to then get held up like this?
Developing: The Los Angeles Clippers-Toronto Raptors trade centered on Kawhi Leonard will not be complete until the NBA investigation into the Clippers is over. Statement from the Clippers to ESPN:   For the past 10 months, our organization has fully cooperated with an NBA investigation, participating in dozens of interviews, providing tens of thousands of documents, and facilitating access to our staff. While the process has been challenging, we have remained committed to transparency.   On June 30, we reached an agreement in principle to trade Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors. We have since been informed that the trade can only be finalized if the Raptors' ownership group assumes the risk of penalties related to Kawhi’s contract that could theoretically result from the ongoing investigation.  The investigation is ongoing, and we expect the trade to be finalized following its conclusion.   At the heart of this investigation are Joe Sanberg and Aspiration. We did not funnel money to Kawhi Leonard through Aspiration. Like many sophisticated investors, financial institutions, and business partners, we were victims of a fraud initiated by Sanberg, who has been convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison.     We recognize the uncertainty this has created and the impact it has had on our team, our fans, the Raptors organization, their fans, and the players whose futures remain affected while this process continues.   We remain confident that, when the facts are evaluated fairly and thoroughly, the NBA will confirm exactly what we have said from the beginning: We have not done what we are accused of doing.

If the league did its job and informed the teams of this potential outcome the Raps may have pivoted to Brown or pushed harder for Giannis But those opportunities are lost because Silver is incompetent and now we just have to wait

Punishing the team that potentially allegedly got screwed over the most by Kawhi going to the Clippers and getting extra money under the table makes absolutely ZERO sense What is this league man

Absolutely massive extension for Cleveland. At least keep their best player locked down through the rest of his core. Side note, man NBA money is crazy lol
