Insanely tragic news for Ben Simmons after working so hard to make a comeback 💔 He looked very promising 😭

Just in: Sacramento Kings guard Ben Simmons is believed to have sustained a torn Achilles tendon at practice Sunday, sources tell ESPN. A suspected season-ending injury for Simmons after rejuvenated and impressive training camp and preseason performances.

Slow motion angle of the injury to Maxime Raynaud from my vantage point.

Kings center Maxime Raynaud goes down with a right knee injury, eventually carted off the floor at Chase Center in the second quarter. Teammates & coaches show support, including Ben Simmons who remained with him while he was down. He looked to go knee-to-knee with Stephen Curry.
