When you follow up with an agent on your query, you are NOT “bothering” them.
It is part of their job to hear from you. So get to it! 👊
I've gone big on the marketing & promo so far this year, last time I did it (maybe 7/8yrs ago, oops) I went about it all wrong, this time I'm WAY more focused on who to approach, last time was all about quantity, gross term but 'pray & spray' just doesn't work.
Just spent all morning emailing Art Directors doing that dreaded 'Hi, did you receive my mailer' email, whilst trying to be proactive and confident instead of wanting to slide under my desk.
A little Friday play with some bearded folk.
