Britain's national debt has just hit £3 TRILLION. My generation is leaving our children and grandchildren an inheritance of debt and decline - we have spent their money before they have even earned it. The time for yet more cowardice is over. Brutal honesty is now required. Difficult decisions lie ahead. There will be no painless solutions. Anyone promising otherwise is not being straight with the British public. We are on the road to total economic collapse - it will be utterly catastrophic. Deep spending cuts, fundamental reform of the state and a return to financial discipline are all absolutely necessary. Every department must justify its spending. Every politician must confront the reality that we simply cannot afford everything. Every penny must go further. The longer we delay, the more painful these decisions become. Our children and our grandchildren are going to spend decades paying for our failures. What a shameful legacy that is.

Security staff protect our hospitals, shops and public venues. As such, their licences must provide genuine assurance of competence and integrity. Yet increasingly, security professionals are not British nationals, do not speak proper English, and do not appear to be physically fit enough to do their job. This is now everywhere. Supermarkets guarded by Indian men with no grasp of our language. How has this been allowed to happen? It is a scam, and a Restore Britain Government will end it. British nationals accounted for just 54.0% of recorded security licence holders in September 2026, down from 68.1% in September 2021. After British nationals (241,851), the five largest groups of SIA licence holders are nationals of Pakistan (69,663), Nigeria (28,770), India (20,567), Ghana (8,000) and Nepal (6,436) - countries whose cultures are, in our view, largely incompatible with our own. How? - We will root out fraud and corruption, hold security companies accountable, and recruit more British workers, reducing reliance on cheap foreign labour. - We will commission an independent audit of the regulator, the Security Industry Authority, and launch a nationwide review of all SIA licences. Recheck identity, qualifications, criminal records, and the right to work. Strengthen overseas background checks, investigate failures to act on intelligence and conflicts of interest, and protect whistleblowers. The senior leadership will be replaced - such failure must have consequences. - We will require every frontline licence holder to retake independently supervised competence tests and pass a separate English-language examination covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Introduce physical fitness tests appropriate to each licensed role. Withdraw licences from those who fail or refuse to meet the required standards within a prescribed period - requiring former holders and their families to leave Britain. - We will introduce compulsory business licensing, with fit-and-proper checks on directors and beneficial owners. Require firms to assess subcontractors, verify staff identities and licences, and retain auditable employment records - preventing banned operators returning through replacement companies. - We will direct joint SIA and Home Office teams to investigate sham sponsorship, falsely described jobs, and unlawful employment. Check actual duties against visa conditions. - We will introduce legislation requiring foreign-national licence holders to financially support themselves and their dependants without social housing or welfare benefits. Where this condition is not met, withdraw licences and require former holders and their families to leave the UK. - We will pursue criminal investigations and prosecutions against company owners, recruiters, training providers, assessors, and officials who knowingly facilitate fraudulent qualifications, false identities, sham sponsorship or illegal working. Seek prison sentences for serious offending, confiscation of criminal proceeds, director disqualification and exclusion from public contracts. - We will launch a domestic recruitment drive through Jobcentres, college apprenticeships, and veterans’ organisations, with funded training and licence-fee support for British recruits. By the end of our first Parliament, we aim to have a 100% British security workforce. Relying on foreign nationals to do such important work is not acceptable. Our people deserve to feel properly protected in hospitals, in shops, at nightclubs, and everywhere else where security personnel are required. The British lads who provide me with protection when I need it are dedicated, serious, and competent - this should be the case everywhere. We should not have Pakistani, Sudanese, and Eritrean nationals taking job opportunities away from British nationals, especially if they are not even doing the job but using it to commit fraud to obtain a visa. The farce of millions of British people being ‘protected’ across our country by illiterate and incompetent foreign men will end.

Political parties on our side of politics are all too desperate to appeal to my generation, and entirely ignore the needs of anyone under 50. Why? Because they don’t vote in the same numbers. Restore Britain will not do that - as we’ve demonstrated. Our plan to replace the triple lock will restore some generational fairness, it probably won’t win us many votes. But we are going to make that argument regardless. Replacing the triple lock, abolishing interest on student loans, hiking tax thresholds, scrapping stamp duty, overhauling the childcare system, enabling entrepreneurs to grow their business with no corporation tax, ending school holiday fines, slashing regulation to get the state out of their way, cutting VAT/tax on all parts of their life - I could go on and on. Our plan is coming together. We are going to continue making our pitch to young working men and women who are trying to find their way in modern Britain. Restore Britain will give them a genuine alternative at the ballot box.

Our pavements are not racetracks for young foreign men on e-bikes or mopeds delivering pizza, or at least it shouldn't be like that. Mounting pavements, jumping red lights and tearing around pedestrians on illegally modified e-bikes or whatever else. Our towns and cities have been turned into the wild west. And who pays the price? The elderly. Parents pushing prams. Disabled people. Blind pedestrians who should be able to walk down the pavement as unobstructed as possible. Today, Restore Britain has published our plan to take back our streets. Mandatory licensing. Registration plates. Insurance. Safety checks. Tough penalties for dangerous riding. Public reporting system. And commercial e-bikes OFF our pavements. No longer will the footways of London or wherever else be strewn with these vehicles. It’s unsafe, looks awful and generally feeds into the relentless societal decline we all hate so much. Alongside our programme of mass deportations, this will deliver cleaner and safer streets for law-abiding British pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

I’m fortunate. I’ve been successful in business, I have money, I don’t have to worry about our financial future. I donate my entire MP salary to local charities, to show that I’m in politics for the right reasons. I’ll be honest. I don’t have to worry about paying the mortgage each month, or having enough money to buy the children what they want for their birthday, or even being able to put food on the table. I don’t, but I know millions of Brits do. That’s the brutal reality. Hardworking British men and women should not have to live like that. If you work hard, put the hours in and live honestly? You should be rewarded for it, properly. That means lower tax, MUCH lower tax and higher thresholds, but it also means a state that can keep inflation under control so that the cost of living does not outstrip your wage. Fuel, food shop, clothes, electricity. Everything. It all gets more expensive whilst so many earn the same. Inflation. All driven up by the decisions of politicians who will never have to live with the consequences of their actions. Our economy is completely broken. It works for the international corporates, the bureaucrats, the London managers. It does NOT work for the plumber, the entrepreneur, the farmer, the construction worker, the hairdresser, the nurse, the sole trader, the HGV driver, the police officer. We must aim to entirely reshape how the economy works so that vast profits made from British workers are not shifted offshore through complex corporate structures whilst working families are bled dry by our corrupt state. I want family businesses to thrive, entrepreneurs to succeed, risk-takers to flourish. Those who contribute, protect and enhance our society rewarded. I want the shirkers and piss-takers crushed. That’s what I want. That’s what Restore Britain wants. I don’t want the parasitic global corporations or our rotten state profiting off the ingenuity and sweat of the British risk-taker. Rotten monopolies that have no respect for the individual will end. In short - an economy that provides for our people. There is ONE way out. A Britain that lives within it means. Just as we all have to, our state must do the same. Spend less than it earns. It’s that simple. That is how we make Britain affordable again, make Britain ambitious again and make Britain work again. That’s what a Restore Britain Government will deliver. Release the innate brilliance and tenacity of the British people. Our entrepreneurial spirit conquered the world before and we can do it again.
