I came across an interesting chart recently reposted by @elonmusk on X, originally shared by a16z using data from the Energy for Growth Hub. It illustrates the strong relationship between electricity consumption per capita & GDP per capita across nations.
Energy must cease to be just a utility for consumption and become a strategic instrument for wealth creation, economic sovereignty and national transformation.
Eswatini can lead by example. Africa must rise to the occasion.
