Teachers. They want us to be professional at all times but they refuse to treat us as professionals, pay us a professionals' salary, or seek our professional expertise. At what point do we demand more, because unless we're fully cared for, we can't fully care for our students.

Some thoughts on raising staff morale: 1. Trust staff to do their job... and give them the freedom to do it. Respect their professionalism. 2. Thank staff for doing their job; never take it for granted. 3. Listen to the concerns of staff... and act on them when you can.
