Andrew Brunette said the Predators "had 20 drivers tonight. Every time it was their turn to grab the wheel, they floored it."
Avalanche coach Jared Bednar was understandably frustrated after tonight's 6-2 loss to the Predators:
"We should have been the team with more energy... with (Nashville) playing the back-to-back on the road and us here waiting for them. It looked like it was the exact opposite."
Bednar added that he's going to take a few days to think about his message to the team.
Former Avs Jack Drury and Ross Colton victimized their former team on this goal. The Predators are absolutely rolling.
Jayden Struble is having a night. Three hits, two blocked shots and his first fight in a Predators uniform. He took down Parker Kelly with a couple of big punches.
The Predators, less than 24 hours removed from a crushing OT loss, are taking it to the Avalanche.
3-0 now after Ryan O'Reilly's PP goal
Cale Makar did all he could to keep this bouncing shot out of the net, but video review determined it was a good goal. Steven Stamkos makes it 2-0 Predators.
Check out the effort from Steven Stamkos to keep this puck in the offensive zone. Roman Josi and Filip Forsberg did the rest for the PP goal.
Big week about to get underway for the Predators, who host the Avalanche tonight to open a five-game homestand.
Nashville has just one win in its last six tries.

The Predators totally waste a great Juuse Saros performance. They are now 0-4 in overtime games this season after blowing a late 2-1 lead in Pittsburgh
Steven Stamkos continues his productive start to the season. Good sign for the Predators, who desperately need to generate more offense.
.@ParkerEmerson_ hopes to become a fourth-generation pilot after suiting up for @NavyFB.
In the meantime, Emerson is busy helping Brentwood (@wcsBHScf) in all three phases of the game, as he did Friday night against Independence:

The Bruins will host Ravenwood to decide the Region 6-6A title next Friday.
Switch gears for some HS football tonight.
Brentwood (@wcsBHScf) leads Independence 21-7 at halftime.
@Gavin_Strang10 has two passing TDs, including this 25-yard connection with @ParkerEmerson_, who also rushed for a 1-yard score.

WE'VE GOT A BLOCKBUSTER! 👀
Connor Hellebuyck is headed to the @NJDevils!
ALT Top: Connor Hellebuyck on ice in a Jets uniform. Below the photo is the Devils logo on a red background, “trade” in black text on a white background, and the Jets logo on a dark blue background. Bottom: in white text on a black background reads, “New Jersey receives G - Connor Hellebuyck. Winnipeg receives F - Nick Bjugstad, F - Alexander Command, F - Dawson Mercer, G - Nico Daws, 2027 7th-round pick, 2029 2nd-round pick”.
The Predators were awful tonight in Boston … which probably means they’ll play well Saturday night in Pittsburgh.
Another season of consistently inconsistent hockey has arrived.
