Today my son asked me to play while I finished work in the kitchen. I almost said, “Wait five more minutes.” Seeing the toys on the floor, I thought one day no one may ask me to play anymore. I put the sponge down and sat with him. Dirty dishes can wait. Sometimes I need reminders like this.
