This is everything that's wrong with these climate talks - rich world, self-proclaimed climate leaders like Norway tell the rest of world to slash emissions ... while expanding oil and gas production. #StopRosebank
🚨BREAKING: Activist confronts Norway’s Minister co-leading #COP28 negotiations on emissions phase-out, on climate hypocrisy Rich countries like Norway are telling other countries to lower their emissions while continuing to rake in cash from oil & gas expansion across the world

Pollution from cars and vans costs £6 billion per year in health damages. Swapping 1 in 4 car journeys in urban areas for walking or cycling could save over £1.1 billion in health damage costs per year. Switching 1 million cars from diesel to electric would save more than £360 million per year in health costs from local air pollution. Perhaps someone could send @rishisunak a copy of @globalactplan’s report? ox.ac.uk/news/2018-06-06-pol… #airpollution #ULEZ #ULEZexpansion
Talking about freedom, sat in Margaret Thatcher’s old Rover. Earlier I spoke to @Telegraph about how important cars are for families to live their lives. It’s something anti-motorist Labour just don’t seem to get. And it’s why I’m reviewing anti-car schemes across the country.

Replying to @DrChrisParry
Classic climate change denier tactics - trying to deflect attention away from all the pollution the UK has caused and blame it on China. Historic cumulative emissions per capita shows exactly who has caused climate change - UK is 5th - so lots of damage to undo!
