I've done a lot of work to my Jellyfin setup. Should I post a blog-style software-sided setup guide? Currently my setup is: - Local Gaming PC running Jellyfin on Windows 11 - VPS for Proxy to Public - ARR Stack w/ Custom Organization Setup - Native Request System

There's more to this too. I will admit, I run in somewhat of a jank fashion, but it works in the end & has supported my 20 (or so) users pretty well. Hardware Config: i7-11700KF + 4070S w/ 9TB Storage It's not the best & I don't have CDNs or any of that nonsense. But oh well!

People take the easier routes even if it means they have to serve their data up on a silver platter. Self-host the world, fuck centralized & proprietary services.

Plex has announced a price increase for new Lifetime Plex Pass subscriptions. Starting July 1, 2026, the one-time cost will rise from $249.99 to $749.99. Existing lifetime subscribers will be grandfathered in with no changes to their accounts or benefits. Monthly and annual Plex Pass subscriptions remain unchanged. The company states the adjustment supports the platform's ongoing value and long-term development. Current users can still buy at the old price until the effective date.

I'm surprised they're offering a $50 prize, they can't even afford an artist.

No thanks, I think my human-made art is actually much better than whatever Grok is gonna do for me. Thank you again to @FallenGraphics for doing this for me awhile ago.
