Kids: Yesterday, we asked: What are some ways you can give?
Jungle: Play some of your favorite Christmas music. Sing and dance along with your child. Talk about how the angels celebrated Jesus by singing to God after they told the shepherds the good news that Jesus, God’s Son, had been born.
Jungle: This weekend's Bible story was about a glorious night when angels told shepherds the good news that God’s Son, Jesus, had been born. Watch the video on the App bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Advent Day 13: Mary Gives Birth to Jesus and lays Him in a manger because there is no room for them anywhere else. Make room for your neighbors by choosing a night to invite just one or two neighbor families over for coffee and dessert.
Kids: At dinner tonight, talk about a few ways that you’ve seen compassion be contagious.
Jungle: As you drive, play a game where every time you see Christmas decorations you try and be the first to name the decoration and then yell, “Happy birthday, Jesus!”
Christmas is about 7 minutes long when you have kids. Here are three simple ways to make sure you don’t miss Christmas. theparentcue.org/3-ways-to-m…
Kids: We’re studying compassion this month! Visit Studio252.tv to find out more about what your kids are learning.
Jungle: Make your own manger scene at home using a baby doll, couch cushions, blankets, and stuffed animals. Talk about how Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem and there was no room, so they had to sleep in a stable. And that is where baby Jesus was born!
Jungle: This weekend, we learned about how Mary and Joseph were the only ones who knew Jesus was God’s Son, as they welcomed Him into the world, while sleeping in a stable. Watch the video on the App bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Advent Day 6: Gabriel Shares More Details of God’s Plan with Mary: “Jesus will be great and will be called God’s very own Son!” Help someone do a chore or other job. (And sing Christmas carols while you work!)
As parents, we now have the privilege of experiencing Christmas with our kids. We also have the opportunity to help them connect the joy and excitement of the season with the great love God has shown to us. theparentcue.org/whats-on-yo…

Kids: Sing a song about cooperation with us. Visit studio252.tv/fun2watch & click 252 Music to sing along!
Jungle: Cuddle up with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, today we want to thank You for the people who help [child’s name] when he/she is sick or gets hurt, like [grandparent, teacher, doctor, friend, etc.]. We loveYou. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Kids: At bedtime, read Luke 5:17-26. Think about the needs you see in your community. Together, pray for that need and then choose a time for your family to work together to help meet it. bit.ly/2NJg6eO
