Yesterday, the Suffolk County PBA, alongside officers from multiple Police Departments across New York State, gathered in Albany at the State of New York Police Officers Memorial to pay tribute to the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. With heavy hearts, we honored the memory of two of SCPD’s fallen: • Officer Robert Kirwan • Chief Thomas Compitello These two heroes’ names now reside on the NYS Police Memorial Wall for all to see. Let us always remember their selfless dedication to safeguarding our communities.

NOT GUILTY: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS
NOT GUILTY: Our @NYPD20Pct brother has been acquitted of all charges for defending himself against a repeat offender causing chaos in an Upper West Side Apple store. We’re grateful to get justice, but Manhattan prosecutors should never have brought the case in the first place.

Last month, two officers were killed when their vehicles were struck from behind while stopped on the shoulder. Be sure you are buckled up when sitting in your vehicle on the roadside. Whether it is with an existing crash, on a construction detail, or diverting traffic; strap in!
