We celebrated the biliteracy of this @HuntingtonSCSD 5th grader today! He did an amazing job sharing the importance of multilingualism to his 5th grade classmates. Plus his family brought in the BEST sambusas! You’re going to do great things, Hizam! 🇾🇪 🇺🇸 @SCSDENL @iteachENL

Thank you to @EversonMuseum for hosting our RSIP Mini-Academy students today as they get ready to begin school at @SyracuseSchools! We visited ceramic exhibits within the museum and made our own mandalas out of clay. @SCSDENL
Ms. Gallardo's ENL students created a short play about relationships. They created a script together and then performed it for two groups in the Library. Fantastic job students!! #GoSTEMLions #SCSDENL #SCSDArts @STEMatBlodgett @SyracuseSchools m.facebook.com/story.php?sto…
We are so proud of the #SCSDDiversity of our students! @GrantGatorsSCSD 8th grader Mooloe Eh Paw was born in the U.S. but her family came here from Thailand. She said they maintain many traditions from Thailand – her favorite is making Pad Gra Prow for herself and her siblings!

#SCSDGivesThanks for our committed staff – like @FranklinSCSD 1st grade teacher Katie Rossi! Katie is a SCSD graduate herself – she graduated from @CorcoranCougars in 1994 – and she’s been teaching in the SCSD for 21 years!

One cool way to engage families is to give a virtual tour of the classroom prior to their re-entry into school. Any time a big change is taking place, our translated video captioning is a great tool to prepare them. #edtech #backtoschool
We're excited to share that TalkingPoints has been listed as the best overall Family Communication Platform for Teachers & Schools by @CommonSenseEd! 🏆 Thank you to everyone who has spread the word about the platform helping shape meaningful engagement. bit.ly/3xEsPWT
