“your patience will be rewarded” to someone saying they want the trailer is a very vague statement and is just meant to create buzz (and succeeded). it does not insinuate anything concrete imo, but they’re probably commenting now bc it is dropping soon! (like we all thought)
I know what I have to do…
Get your art in a Sonic game! We’re hosting a special Decal Contest for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! Send us your beautiful works of art, and you might see them in-game next year!

One of many things I can say about Dream Team is that I appreciate how they really try to give the characters (with their current models) a more lively feel/look in animations or stills BUT I still think a new look would suffice!
Edit by me :)

Charlie explains the “where’s Batman” dilemma really well and I agree.
We need Less key jangles and more well told self contained stories.
So I did a little something 😉

since this is getting attention again here's an updated version (some adjustments by @SCTerracon)
Still wonder how this early design would’ve looked like in motion. Anywho, here’s a quick sketch of it!

If the Sonic Movie 4 trailer actually releases in October, I will draw whatever you guys want in the replies 🤭
Another design approach I had in mind for a live action Sonic design! (Left is the ACTUAL movie design while the right is my approach)

Random tweet but if I was approached to design a new look for Sonic for the live action movies, it would probably look like this.
