Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident at the Lanes Shopping Centre. Residents and visitors should avoid the area. If you have any information or footage, please submit at orlo.uk/Kb7kB. My thoughts are with the victim, who remains in hospital.

🚧 I’m delighted to share that the unsafe road surface on Greenhill Road has been scheduled for repair. 🏘️ Fixing our roads, repairing potholes and making them safe is one of my priorities. 💪 Wylde Green deserves a councillor who works hard to deliver local change.

☕🍰Great to spend some time at Sweetfields Café and Bakery today, one of Wylde Green’s brilliant local businesses. 💻While enjoying a hot chocolate and coffee cake, I also reported fly-tipping on Birmingham Rd. 🌱Supporting local business and taking action for our community.

🙏 Thank you to the hardworking teams at Birmingham City Council. 🔧 While delivering, I reported a broken lamppost and less than an hour later, a team were out. It’s secured for now and will be repaired soon. ❤️ Step by step, day by day, I’m working hard to deliver change.

🚆 With a Labour Mayor and a Labour Government, change is coming to our local railway stations. 🛤️ Chester Road, Wylde Green, and Sutton Coldfield will see more frequent and reliable services, run for passengers, not profit. 🌹 Labour is delivering the change our town needs.

Let’s keep Wylde Green moving! ⚠️Expect delays on Jockey Rd 18/08-29/08, Vesey Rd 25/08, Emmanuel Rd 29/08 and Penns Ln 01/09-04/09. 🚧Closures on Walmley Rd 21/08 & Chester Rd 01/09-02/09 mean traffic is diverting through the ward. 👉Find out more at one.network.

🚪 I’ve been out knocking doors every day this week, listening to residents across Wylde Green. 💻 Now wrapping up the week by responding to emails, following up on casework, and taking action. With a bite back at Verdo, of course! Supporting #LocalBusiness in #WyldeGreen.❤️
