Team SC is working around the clock to clear roads, restore power, and get the gas stations open. The crews out there are working as fast as they can under conditions like we have not seen before. It's going to take some time, but things will return to normal.

Pop quiz time! Let's say you are driving down a four-lane highway and you see a school bus stopped with red flashing lights ahead on the opposite side of the road....are you required to stop? The answer is no. Traffic approaching the stopped bus on the opposite side of a multi-lane road is not required to stop by law since students will not be crossing the street. However, you should still proceed with caution. For more information on school bus safety, visit our website at scdps.sc.gov/schoolbus
