Once I got to this level of understanding it made the world more amazing to witness/observe.
We were taught that Earth orbits the Sun in a closed circle. In reality, Earth has never returned to the same point in space once in 4.5 billion years.
βRight now, the Sun is carrying Earth and every planet around the center of the Milky Way at 230 km/s (828,000 km/h), more than 18,000 kilometers every 80 seconds.
βBecause the Solar System is tilted 60.2Β° to the galactic plane and bobs up and down through the galactic disc roughly every 30 million years, the planets trace open 3D corkscrew helices across deep space rather than flat loops.
βThe last time the Sun stood where it stands today, one Galactic Year (230 million years) ago, the very first dinosaurs were only beginning to appear on Earth. Since forming 4.6 billion years ago, our Sun has completed only 20 laps.
Lot of people trying to knock @GrantHorvatGolf for not wanting the ball, but I applaud it. If you're off your game, and your recognize it, its better to say it or be the reverse (over confident and not perform). Glad @RRuffels and the team instilled confidence and he performed.
If this is real...holy shit, lol
The ranking members of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees have written a letter to President Trump asking whether he has been soliciting advice from Grok in order to help carry out his official duties as President of the United States.
They also demanded that he preserve any prompts sent to Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, as well as outputs in response to those prompts, that were 'submitted to AI chatbots in carrying out your constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties.'
The letter was provided by Politico.
If you've ever thought - why does the government pay for this, but not for that? and you actually want to learn how things work at the federal level. Please read this book:

Golf twitter - what are your thoughts on golfers that only post competition scores. Guy in my flight shot gross 69 as a 5 PH...checked his last 20 and it goes back to 2022 - nearly all comp scores...
Certified bagger? @YipStrickler
If lawmakers don't create some version of a tiered "anti-AI" tax law this shit is going to be bad.
I.e. for companies to declare, via audit, how much AI is used, based on its use, you get tiered tax. The more you use, the more tax you pay, no loopholes.
This is why I love gamers. Some of them master every bit of knowledge how an engine and vectors work within the game. Then they go on to teach you how to maximize it to better yourself. youtube.com/watch?v=fnLDpt39β¦
This has a lot of validity, for many subjects and utility. But the truly smart, the truly ultra smart can also dumb down their ideas to 60 IQ - its a separate measure of smart.
You literally cannot sell to someone more than 30 IQ points below you
To them you sound like a guy talking weird & weird means scam
This is why your 160 IQ friend is broke & some 115 with a podcast has a Lambo
115 is the richest IQ on earth. Smart enough to see the play, dumb enough to explain it so 100 million people get it
The genius is writing 9 paragraphs about "incentive structures" to an audience of 40
If you're actually smart, the most profitable thing you can do is hire a 115 to talk for you
If you're a 115, shut up & enjoy it
For those of you that don't know math, there is $144T in total accessible dollars in the world.
If we grow at 3% @ 10 yrs = $193T..if he thinks SpaceX/Tesla is going to be 50% of the economy he's insane. Right now its about 3%of the economy. If 3% then he's thinks 41% inflation
The real art of the bourbon hunt is that this number is about $60-80. There is a bar some $60-80 set that render all high price bourbons worthless from a taste only perspective, they can only latch to rarity.
The quest is to find out which bourbons fall into each category.
Finally someone did it - everytime I drive by farms and I see plants, I want to know what is there. I've mentioned this idea to golf buddies and my wife before...this is sick.
I made an interactive map of every farm field in California! Inspired by the @Snapchat map!
All 384k of them: lettuce in Salinas π₯¬, cherries in Brentwood π, dates in Coachella π΄, and 1.6 million acres of almonds π° Zoom into any field and see exactly what's growing there.
I've been obsessed with maps from years of hiking and cycling. Models like Opus 5.5 / Astra making building with them so fun!
Built on public crop data from @CA_DWR.

Prove to me that the renter that invested is in the same tax bracket/quality of life as the owner, its a non argument.
The idea that rent + investment outweighs ownership assumes you have excess investment to make.
Reality is:
rent to survive
own once needs covered
So most banks tie mortgages to the 10 year bond, but given the rates right now, some bank is leaving exceptional $ on the table by not offering a 5% mortgage...will the tie to bonds break? Ever? if so, what happens?
Made this comparison to a friend the other day:
MOBAs are designed for ultimate dopamine drain
Play bad, win = feel bad
Play bad, lose = feel real bad
Play good, lose = feel bad
Play good, win = only time you get the hit
75% of the time you're in the bad zone

Capitalism works if and only if all members see themselves as "pre-rich" or "feasibly-rich-if-they-wanted-it-badly-enough". Remove that and the system collapses.
I'm sorry what? the FBI sold a terrorist an AK47 to use?
FBI agents thwarted a terror attack by a teenager on the Mall of America after monitoring him for nearly two years and ultimately supplying him with the AK-47 he planned to use, authorities say. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/fbiβ¦
