Despite all the diplomatic circus and absurdity surrounding this whole thing, one thing today was absolutely brilliant.
On the Ukrzaliznytsia train from Rzeszów to Kyiv, Witkoff and Kushner were served Crimean Tatar cuisine. And right there on the menu: a map of Ukraine and the Khan’s Palace in Bakhchysarai, Crimea.
This wasn’t even a diplomatic hint.
This was Crimea literally served to the American delegation on a plate.
Just in case, while travelling to Kyiv to discuss Ukrainian territory, anyone happened to forget one very simple fact:
Crimea is Ukraine 🇺🇦
Now THAT is what I call a strategic menu.

US envoy Witkoff and Kushner postponed their visit to Kyiv because of intensified Russian missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian capital, Radio Free Europe journalist Alex Raufoglu reported.
The two had been expected to attend events marking Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day.
