❗️ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING. The moment two Russian missiles hit Kyiv, filmed by people in the city. And honestly, after watching this, I keep thinking about the American negotiators who have just left Ukraine. I don’t think they understand this war at all. If all they are doing is carrying Putin’s messages from Moscow to Kyiv and then taking Ukraine’s answer back, we could use carrier pigeons for that. No need to travel. They came to Kyiv, had meetings and left. But did they see the Kyiv that Ukrainians actually live in? The destroyed apartment buildings? Children sitting in bomb shelters on September 1 while their first school bell was ringing underground? Mothers sitting on metro floors all night with their children in their arms? And those are the lucky ones. Others are found under the rubble of their homes after Russian missiles hit. This is what Russia does to Ukraine every fucking day. You can sit with Putin for three hours and listen to him explain his “root causes” and how Russia is supposedly winning. But if you don’t understand this side of the war, what exactly are you negotiating?
