I think maybe these folks are lying on purpose. Right, @planetofmemes and @libsoftiktok? Of course, neither of them gives a shit, as long as there are fools who will believe anything.

Yes, and to add to that, it would require turning out a substantial number of low-propensity Republicans who didn't even vote in 2022 or 2024. So far, Republicans have relied more heavily on high-propensity voters (3/3s) than Democrats in almost every state.

I see political forces in percentages of demographics very much like physics. And it requires significantly more force to get a car moving from 10mph to 20mph than it does to get one moving from ~47mph to ~53mph.
The Democratic Party was in denial about this -- still framing the narrative as Trump's victory serving as further proof of white supremacy. Harris's performance among Black voters, the supposed "base" of the party was generationally bad for a Democratic nominee.

Today is the anniversary of Jack Haley, Jr.’s birth. Jack, as I’m sure you know, directed my television special, Movin’ with Nancy. He was a wonderful person and a very dear friend, and I miss him so much. I’m sending lots of love out into the universe today, and I hope it finds its way to him. Happy, HAPPY heavenly birthday, old friend. I love you. ❤️🙏

One reason why this matters: In new ntl NYT/Siena College poll, 84% of college+ Whites who disapproved of Trump said they will vote Dem for the House; only 77% of Whites who disapprove of Trump intended to back Democrats; @CNN polls found an even bigger gap in OH/IA Senate races
Tho rarely discussed, college-educated voters consistently comprise 4-5 pts more of the vote in m/terms than the preceding presidential race. That could be a crucial thumb on scale for Ds in a yr when Trump faces such high disapproval from them. My take. cnn.com/2026/10/25/politics/…

remember correctly: the team wasn't even going to honor Conald with a debate - until they felt they had no choice because the numbers didn't say anything close to "soul of the nation" anymore.

Wasn't timing. I saw Biden in Los Angeles on Feb 20, 2024 and knew immediately why all of the "did anyone get that on camera?" or "is he still fit?" talk was rampant that winter. I saw at that fundraiser what the world saw at the debate. Sleep wouldn't have changed a thing. You

Is this a policy Dems should act on, no. Politics of it are not exactly a mystery though. Every Dem senator improves the chance of a liberal SCOTUS being possible. Thats kinda the whole ball game on civil rights and shit like gun control, wealth taxes, etc.

That's not what happened there. The first polls to come out in April 2024 revealing that 80% Black and 90% Hispanic voters felt the economy was only "fair to poor" came out of Georgia. They were the first concrete info for what would be more widely seen.

Heartbroken to learn of @bauzilla’s passing. He was truly a one-of-one talent - and an incredibly happy, kind soul & fantastic conversationalist. I had the honor of interviewing him for Space Jam 2 & he launched into all Looney Tunes voices with the greatest ease. #RIPEricBauza

The reason Biden had the debate early in the first place is because he was trailing in the polls over concerns about his age. I suppose the cope is that the disastrous debate was just bad timing and he'd have performed better in a normal September debate. This is fantasy.
Biden wins in '24 if he just doesn't do that 1 stupid debate. All his handlers were insane for having an 80 year old fly from Europe to a west coast fundraiser and then back to the east coast for marathon cramming sessions. In old days they'd commit sepuku for such negligence.
