Hi all Australian science education technicians. Have you seen this competition?
A big thank you to Modern Teaching Aids who will sponsor two technicians (who are SETA members) for $1000 each to attend CONASTA in 2021
Attention all school lab techs. Keep an eye out on your discussion lists for information about a competition where you can win $1000 towards attending CONASTA 69 in Canberra this July. Thanks to MTA for their generous sponsorship
scotsman.com/education/schoo…. Interesting that in these times when STEM is so highly regarded that science techs from both sides of the world are treated as inconsequential.
A little bit late for Science Week but finally Redcliffe State High School has a Periodic Table table. With thanks to ANSTO for the artwork it even can be used with the ANSTO XR mobile app. It is hoped that the students will engage with it during breaks.
From Bob Worley :”One of our UK School Technicians has hit the big time. Well in my world it is. Go to uwaterloo.ca/chem13-news-mag… and see how Isobel's indicator art has been featured in Canada's Chem 13 News Magazine....”
