Some quick impressions after quite some time with Mira by @SEVENTIMES07 Video review will follow. youtube.com/@sl0the_ Mira is not a limited drop and may be restocked in the future, but only the first batch is individually numbered. The artwork is probably the first thing that caught my attention here. It is insanely sharp and vibrant in person, and I'm not kidding when I say that. Performance wise, Mira genuinely took me by surprise as well. It sits firmly in ultra speed territory and up there with some of the fastest glass pads on the market. From my testing so far, I’d put it somewhere around Ryo/Yuyo/Kokū territory in terms of overall static/dynamic speed. ➡️Speed: Ultra Speed, up there with some of the fastest pads on the market ➡️Texture: Medium-high tactile feedback, around Yūsui/Azure/Shion territory ➡️Push-down: Medium, quite noticeable without ever being overwhelming Mira also seems quite tunable with different skates. Changing skates can noticeably alter both the speed and tactile feedback, with Cyclone Pros being my favorite pairing so far. Build wise, we get the standard XL size at 490×420 mm, with 1.8 mm glass and a 1 mm blue custom silicone base for a total measured thickness of 2.8 mm. 2.8 mm is honestly on the thicker side these days but ost people probably wouldn't mind? (myself included). For me, the appeal of Mira so far is pretty straightforward: One of the fastest glass pads on the market, but without feeling like something you need an insane amount of mouse control to actually enjoy. Basically a versatile, high-ceiling ultra speed pad that even newcomers could try out. Still need to test more skates and direct comparisons before I settle on a final verdict, but very promising so far.
