School closures harm students. We NEED to show the board of education that we have people power, and that we DEMAND a moratorium on school closures.
Protecting students from technology is an equity issue! SF students shouldn’t be used as guinea pigs for big tech companies.
Students need real human teachers to guide and teach them. Using AI to record students’ voices and collect their data is dangerous and unacceptable.

School choice, which often boils down to furthering school privatization, has many proven downsides for public education.
And those downsides disproportionately affect immigrant students. We have to prioritize funding our school system to protect it for all our students.
In a horrific anti-equity move, the Trump administration is making it harder to address systemic racism in education.
This is completely unacceptable. If we want to build an equitable and anti-racist future, we need to be able to fight back against systemic racism.
We had an amazing time at our Back to School social last week! It was a fun evening of socializing and chatting with other SFUSD families.

School closures are a sign of systemic disinvestment in our public school system. And it’s not only students who suffer when school close.
We ALL lose when public schools close. SF needs more investment in public schools, not less.

That’s why we’re against school closures in SFUSD. School closures are not the answer to our enrollment crisis. Our students deserve better.
Silicon Valley parents, many of whom themselves work in tech, are standing up against AI and big tech in our schools.
San Francisco cannot be left behind. We must stand up for our students and protect them from the harms of AI and excessive screen time.
