Most players aren’t stuck because of strength… they’re leaking power. Top frame = elite sequencing → full stride → hips lead, shoulders stay closed → energy builds before release Bottom frame = what kills velocity → early rotation → short stride → energy leaks forward instead of transferring That difference is why one arm throws hard… and the other hits a ceiling. Velocity isn’t random. It’s engineered. If your mechanics don’t store and transfer energy correctly, you’ll always be fighting for mph. Fix the sequence → unlock the velocity. Train it the right way inside the 3X Pitching Program. Show Up. This is often the most important step to success. - Show up to the weight room. - Show up in the classroom. - Show up to your workout. - Show up at practice. - Show up to the gym. With Relentless Consistency. Every Day.

Went to a HS game yesterday. Had a D1 coach come meet me there to watch a kid. During the game, the team’s catcher would sprint to his position every inning. He’s an underclassman, the D1 coach wasn’t there for him, he is now on that coaches radar. Some things preached at every level - ▪️sprint to your spot between innings ▪️show off your arm in between innings ▪️serious throws in the INF/OF and as a catcher You can be 0-3 and still make an impression

I see a ton of H.S. pitchers in the Northeast maxing out velo in January. Why? You’re 9–12 weeks from opening day. Forcing max effort this early leads to burnout, in-season velo drops, or injuries.

A lot of college coaches are cycling back to wanting pitchers that can actually pitch in games, and get hitters out. They're learning that plus velocity with below average command, doesn't win games, even though it looks good in the bullpen.

Players The locker room. The clubhouse. The cages. The facility. The dugout. The bullpen . The field. They're all yours. You should feel ownership and protect them, clean them and make sure they're taken care of. If you walk past trash, you don't care enough.

The batting cage is for practice. Varsity games are where decisions are made. Coaches care about how you compete against varsity pitching under pressure. Bottom line: If you hit in games, you play. If you can't, you don't.

It was a lot of fun to go down to Florida, and attend “Florida burn” tryout. Can’t wait to put in the work this off season and try and be up to low to mid 90’s. Just happy for the opportunity.

I see a lot of people saying to throw year round. I have talked to numerous MLB doctors all of different ages and they all say for youth players to take 3-4 months off throwing. Been following this for 19 years of coaching and have had ZERO TJ surgeries. Not arguing with others just stating what works for my players.

Players If your teammates know you're lazy. If they know you don't do the right things off the field. If they know you haven't sacrificed for the team. Don't expect a lot of support from them when you fail in game defining moments. You owe them your best in preparation and sacrifice. You have to earn their support. Support is a privilege, and it's earned.

Game 179 for the @Dodgers. Biggest stage. Two of the best players in the world still hammering the fundamentals! Greatness lives in the details. Master the mundane. ⚾️ 📚 @mookiebetts | @FreddieFreeman5
