Brock Purdy. 7 for 8 on a must have it TD drive against the best defense in the NFL on the road in the loudest stadium in the NFL. MVP frontrunner #FTTB

Correct. @NFLOfficiating influenced both games because the @NFL clearly wanted the 49ers to lose at least one before the bye week. Pathetic crap
As he should be. The @NFL officiating in the last two 49ers games is straight TRASH.

This is a crazy stat. Beat ourselves today
#49ers have driven inside Falcons 30 on last 3 drives and gotten 0 points: fumble by Kaelon Black INT by Brock Purdy turnover on downs

And the clowns thought the 49ers had an elite pass blocking OL unit lulz
#49ers QB Brock Purdy was sacked 0 times on 123 dropbacks (scrambles included) in 1st 4 weeks. He has been sacked 6 times in 75 dropbacks the past 2+ games

About to score at least 3 points here after this MVP play by Brock and we fumbled the points away (and the game)
That's an MVP play 😤

Tick tock to Eddy $. Get your act together or you'll be cut. #FTTB
Kyle Shanahan was asked if the team will work out kickers this week: “I don’t know I haven’t talked to anybody about that, we’ll probably discuss on the plane.” Should the 49ers look for a new kicker or do you have faith in Eddy Pineiro?

Crazy that we still could have won the game. That's how good this team is
Three of the 49ers' four turnovers today came inside Atlanta's 30.

And we could have still won, on the road, against a hot team, with zero WRs and God knows how many injuries. That's how good this team is #FTTB
#49ers today: 4 turnovers 0 takeaways 7 penalties for 55 yards 0 sacks

Flashed some talent (which is why he was drafted) but two game changing drops as he went to the ground. Brock went back to him on the 2nd pick as well so he didn't shy away from him but 3 horrific plays when throwing to a receiver is inevitably going to lead to less targets.
Jordan Watkins on his near touchdown catch that was ruled incomplete.

No clue what Cowing was doing not going to the sideline like Brock expected. Either a bone head play or he slipped.
Think this is on Cowing mostly. He looks like he stops running to the sideline. Need the all22 to see what happened to his route but if the QB is scrambling, you run to the sideline there and don't stop. Did he slip or something?

Brock clarified that this wasn't on Jacob and was on him instead

Always love Brock breaking these down. This shows that both picks were on him but both were unreal defensive plays. That's a good sign and it shows that to pick Brock these days you literally have to make all pro type defensive plays so he's making sound decisions #FTTB
Brock Purdy discussed his two interceptions: First INT: “I thought maybe Christian Kirk on the scramble was going to be there, but then towards the end, as I was getting ready to throw. I was like no it’s not and so I just went to throw it away by the sideline and then Bates all of a sudden came across and made a good play and I was like: ‘You got to be kidding me.’” Second INT: “Linebacker was mugged up on the line of scrimmage, thought we had a alley outside to Jordan Watkins, and was going to throw, and it was there and thought it was going to be like a drive by like play. All of a sudden I threw the ball and he came from the backside and tipped it up to himself, didn’t see him or anything, so credit to him, he made a good play.”

Correct. Even the 3 GOATs (Tom, Joe, Pat) have had plenty of them #FTTB
Brock’s allowed to have bad games.

And no, I don't expect Brock to go down as a top 5 QB of all time. I have him top 25 or so like a Kurt Warner.

So many questionable calls today. Reversing that Watkins TD was the game. How do you overturn the ruling on the field when the ball is allowed to move on impact to the ground as long as control is maintained? If that wasn't reversed, we likely win the game since we scored another TD on the next drive. Shameful stuff in back to back weeks by @NFLOfficiating tells me that the NFL didn't want the 49ers to be undefeated for much longer #FTTB
Kyle Shanahan is tired of the bullshit officiating

Today's performance from Brock Purdy is why he's still not the best QB in the NFL in my book which is currently Josh Allen or Pat Mahomes. You have to single handedly elevate your wounded team that is playing like crap to win gritty games like that. Brock threw a pick (unreal play by LB and not really even Brock's fault) on that final drive and he could have checked it down to CMC to live to fight for another day after noticing for a split second that the LB dropped (that would obviously be an all time great QB type of play but that's now the expectation). The defense was crap today (Jack Jones is unplayable) but they came up with two critical stops in back to back drives to end the game that Brock should have taken advantage of and he didn't. Let's not get it twisted btw - Brock is playing at tier 1 top 5 QB in the NFL levels which is the best he's played so far in his very young career and I expect a great bounce back game after the bye. #FTTB #49ers

That's a funny and very fitting ending to this garbage game. Everyone lost this one from Kyle to Brock to the defense to special teams etc. Flush this one, go onto the bye, and get healthy #FTTB

Brilliant play design by Jeff. LB had to fully stretch to bat the ball and it landed right back to him. Mix of brilliant strategy by Jeff, great play by the LB, and luck. That's what happens sometimes
Jeff Ulbrich fooled Brock Purdy at a huge spot... Interesting to see the emergence of these ultra-tall stack linebackers — Kendal Daniels is 6-5, reminiscent of Jaden Dugger on the 49ers' size. That height utilized exactly according to design here: To close throwing windows

You can't win with all of those back breaking penalties (not even talking about losing the turnover battle 0 to 3) #FTTB
Just played shitty shitty football today.

Changed the play and lost the game right there, so many penalties today, crazy
Ooooof. That's brutal. Helluva an interception. That Cooks false start was a killer.
