Molecular biology labs and medical research are responsible for more then 2% of all plastic waste world-wide. This year's practical course:16 students, 2 weeks of experiments = 15kg of waste. More than half is easy avoidable or recyclable! @iyudushkin

Great example of how the cross-feeding between bacteria in the #microbiome allows them to overcome drastic nutritional deficiencies in the #Diet!
