Happy 50th birthday to club president Rhidian Clement today,
A few of us celebrated with him last night, and Paul Williams (his 50th was Thursday).
We were joined by a special guest, but who?

Don't forget, this Sunday, the 29th, free bowls taster session at Primrose Park. All welcome, bring a friend (or 3!). In conjunction with @SaferSwansea

The green is OPEN!
13 members came for a roll up, including 10 year old Henry Brooks.
Green was in good condition and played well.
All were in cracking form!!

We're at a pivotal moment in the development of bowls in Wales and we're looking for a Chair of the Board to lead us through this exciting time! If you're passionate about making a real impact and growing the sport, we want to hear from you 👇

A grand night last night celebrating Allan Slattery's 50th birthday, but I've decided this morning I don't want to see another beer for some time! 😅

2 former members in these photos, Mike Russell and Tom Harris. Hoping that Tom might return soon.
The photo of @DanAmos97 made me laugh, not sure why!
And the fines committee from the 2023 tour, Sharon Summerfield and Debbie Amos. Look sweet but appearances are deceiving!

Another one from the archives thanks to Hon Sec Keith Brooks.
My grandfather John Brooks standing second from the right, and pretty sure that's Geoff Clement standing third from the left ❤️❤️👍🏻

At the request of Rhidian and Sian, this afternoon's match with @Mynyddbach1946 will go ahead.
We will hold a minute's silence beforehand as a mark of respect ❤️

Geoff's contribution to our club, along with his business partner John Hague was immeasurable.
A dry sense of humour and was a great bowls tourist. A great player, skipping for us for many years.
We send our love to Pam, Rhidian, Sian and all the family.
Farewell old friend ❤️

Allan Slattery here, great bowler but prone to the occasional injudiciois choice of shot!!
After one such occasion against Coedgwilym last week Allan has now decided to don his "thinking cap" to avoid similar mishaps again! 😅

Fair play, very good of some of the boys to visit Hon Treasurer on the eve of his birthday (not 50 yet mind!). Turns out they were just after their new kit!! Very smart 👍🏻👍🏻
