When working people organize, we win. From day one, this campaign has been about building a people-powered movement — organizing inside the Capitol and out — to fight for our public schools and academic freedom, affordable healthcare, reproductive rights, housing and transit, and the dignity every Texan deserves. As a formerly undocumented student who became a bilingual pre-K teacher and labor organizer, I could have never imagined running for office. This campaign belongs to the teachers, union members, parents, students, and neighbors who believed in the power of our shared story. Our work continues. We’re leading into the runoff, and now it’s time to finish the job. Visit MontserratForTexas.com to donate, sign up to volunteer, or request a free yard sign. #txlege
