Many have pointed out the Campaign Evolved is a Single-Player game and thus the low player count is to be expected. Normally, I agree with this sentiment and don't care about that stuff. But I can see how my initial tweet could come across as bait, so that's my bad. Halo is so much more than just it's single-player though. And we should all expect a lot more from this series.
Halo has never been single-player only. It shouldn't be too much to ask that the first new Halo released in 5 years retains some modicum of relevance for more than a month. Is it too much to ask that a remake of Halo 1 includes a remade version of the Multiplayer it launched with 25 years ago? I hope not.
Yes, Campaign Evolved is a single-player game, and that's the problem. Infinite is no longer being supported so we have no idea what the future of Halo Multiplayer is or if it even has one. The low player count is only an indication that this remake SHOULD have had a multiplayer feature and nothing more.
It is not an indictment of the single-player genre. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk

I think the funniest part is from a 343 perspective Humanity being elected as those to reclaim forerunner tech MAKES them forerunner in a metaphorical sense.
The backlash towards @game_fabricator ideal next halo project is the same kind of negativity I’ve spoken about countless times. Combat needs to Evolve, halo needs to innovate, Without it, the game will die stagnant.
I wonder what the original creators like @game_fabricator think about the copious amount of hate gets thrown Halo Studios’ way
