Replying to @LeaderJohnThune
These losses are mostly on you. Never has a Senate Majority Leader worked so hard against a president of his own party.

You did absolutely nothing and obstructed Trump‘s agenda at every turn.
Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.

Don’t you dare blame Trump alone for the 2026 midterm election losses. Blame John Thune and every RINO who turned their backs on Trump and helped the Democrats win. We could have passed the SAVE Act, but these RINOs failed us. We still have serious questions about who voted in these elections, including whether people who weren’t legally allowed to vote And I don’t care who gets mad. I’m standing with President Trump. I voted for him, and I’m sticking with him. If you don’t like it, I don’t care. Democrats stood behind Obama and Biden no matter what. So why the hell should I turn my back on Trump. I refuse to join the Democrats in their celebration. I will never support that party.

In addition to the NYT/Siena poll this morning, we now have another St Pete Polls that shows Donalds only leading by 2 with an R+12 electorate. Barring some MAJOR upset in the turnout over these next few days, I feel comfortable saying Jolly is slightly favored right now

Scott Jennings FIRES BACK at David Axelrod after the Democrat strategist tried to throw Rep. Haley Stevens under the bus for “betraying” the party by endorsing Republican Mike Rogers. Jennings let Axelrod finish spinning his narrative before asking one question that turned the tables on him. JENNINGS: “Why all the anger with her?!” “Why no anger for Abdul El-Sayed who just can’t seem to keep her inside the supposed ‘big tent’?” “Doesn’t he have some responsibility as a candidate to keep…?” “I mean, she’s a loyal Democrat, she had endorsed him, and he can’t keep his own supporters in the tent.” “Why are you mad at her and not him?!” Very true. This is exactly the question Democrats don’t seem interested in answering. Rather than directing their anger at the candidate who is causing so much division within the party, they’re using Stevens as their scapegoat.

Is it normal for the Director of Economic Development & Tourism to call town hall "my building" and police cameras in the lobby? Why do so many public employees refer to public property as theirs? MY building. MY highway. MY streets. In December 2021, Sean Paul Reyes (Long Island Audit) entered Orangetown Town Hall in Orangetown, NY (Rockland County) to film publicly accessible areas and file a FOIL request with the Town Clerk. Carmel Reilly, Director of Economic Development & Tourism for the Town of Orangetown, confronted him. She claimed the building was “hers,” demanded he have a filming permit, stated that she issues permits for the Town of Orangetown, and referenced a potential $5,000 fine. She cited the town’s commercial filming rules under Chapter 14C of the Town Code. Orangetown Police Officer Kalaf arrived. He ordered Reyes to leave, demanded he turn off or hand over his camera/phone, and went hands-on attempting to take the device. Reyes refused, asserted he was lawfully recording in a public building, and repeatedly requested a supervisor. A sergeant later responded. Reyes filed a formal civilian/IA complaint against Officer Kalaf with the Orangetown Police Department, completed his FOIL request, and left. In the internal affairs report the officer reportedly justified the hands-on action by citing officer-safety concerns involving possible guns disguised as cell phones. No arrest occurred. Reyes completed his audit. ❓Why did Carmel Reilly, who claimed she issued them, insist a permit was required for personal recording inside a town hall lobby? ❓Does “officer safety” justify grabbing someone’s phone because it might theoretically be a gun?
