As part of the celebrations for his His Majestie's Coronation we've rebranded. We're still the same working party & same aims. Our Green & Gold necker's remain our defining feature with our new KSWP brand & crown. Our working clothing remains red and has a rebranded "splat".

I love the gremlin that seems to live in the @EastMidRailway seat reservation system happily causing chaos to my commute. This morning it appears to be changing carriage letters at will!
So pleased to see that two charities close to my heart have been recognised for the #platinumjubileeqavs @scouts & @DofE do amazing things for so many young people only made possible by their passionate and enthusiastic volunteers

Looking back at 2022, we’re so proud of everything we’ve achieved together. From helping young people enjoy outdoor adventures again, to serving the nation in a period of mourning, we’ve done so many brilliant things in one year. It’s all thanks to you, our volunteers!

So so true. Anyone I mentor in @scouts top awards hears this from me multiple times!
We’ve just heard from Mo Taher, Doyin Sonibare, Anoushé Husain & Major David Love about how the DofE is more than just a line on your CV, it “opens up new opportunities” and can lead to “endless possibilities.”

It can be difficult to know how to talk to young people have about war and the events they see unfolding on social media. @worldscouting has published a resource in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Russian and Czech

A happy day spotting signs of spring and moving alot of woodchip!
#Spring #volunteering
A busy work day for our crew. Many routine jobs completed and the redistribution of a huge woodchip pile. The woodchip was used to make the range look fresh and ready for 2022's adventures #teamwork #campsitecrew #scouts
Disappointed by the lack of accessibility in contacting @DHLParcelUK Calling requires the shipping no, it's 14 digits long. For a dyscalculic who is confused & stressed typing that in is madness! If you get it wrong the call ends, no second attempt, no verbal option. #dyscalculia
Huge congratulations to @char1ott3_ for making her final #QSA presentation tonight. It's been a pleasure to mentor you and see your award signed off 🥳

Today we welcomed friends & family of Mo & Rik to celebrate their memory and all they gave to scouting. A special memorial service was held in St Peter in the Pines before two trees were planted and friends & family shared memories and stories around the campfire. #GoneHome
Blown away by my fabulous Cubs and their #PromiseToThePlanet campaign.
Our Cubs have made their #PromiseToThePlanet by learning about Soft Plastics and joining with @coopuk to encourage our community to collect & recycle more. Last night we delivered over 30 bags of soft plastic to our local store. #ItsWhatWeDo
Had lots of fun exploring York with @james_hage First stop was #YorkMinster and then an afternoon of exploring with the help of @PawprintFamily and their fantastic York Trail #explore #holidays #geocaching #tourist
